The prices are a bit much
I never leave reviews but I truly think we all can agree on this one. Honestly, this app is entertaining. They have cute, corny stories that are just fun to laugh at (not in a bad way) if anything they keep me pulled into it, sure the storyline is weird but it makes me want to keep going. The actors aren’t bad, I’ve watched worse. Though, their not as good as some other apps, which, is understandable. And since it isn’t as great, it makes must of the stories more entertaining and the characters more fun....However, the app's coin system is notably overpriced. For example, $10 for 1,000 coins honestly doesn’t get you very far in the episodes, and $5 for 500 coins cover much less. The subscription fees, in particular, seem excessive. If the app offered a higher quality version or included top-tier actors, or just actors who are more likely to play the role well. This pricing might be justifiable. But in its current form, the quality doesn’t quite align with the cost. While the app is certainly enjoyable and provides a good amount of entertainment, the premium fees and limitations on content make it hard to justify paying for extended access. For the price, the value doesn’t fully meet expectations, especially considering not even having 2 minutes on any of the episodes.

I paid 6 dollars for the 500+500 coins and i bought the watch free now for 50 coind and now i only have 65. Im rotted by this. And after every ad I watched it took coins away to the point I only have 8 out of 1000. Unbelievable.

The ReelShort app offers a refreshing take on short-form video content. One of the app’s standout features is its focus on micro-videos, allowing users to watch content that’s concise yet impactful.
However, while the app shines in simplicity, it does have areas where it could improve. The content discovery mechanism, although decent, could use a more refined algorithm to surface relevant videos based on user interests. And paying for coins/ the weekly subscription to watch the videos are a bit pricey and could do with being lowered to make more affordable for everyone.

Price point is too high per episode
For such an expensive price point, the coins don’t last. I really think you guys should make every episode cheaper, this is ridiculous.
I think it’s a good concept but it needs work.
I really like the story’s but you have to watch a lot of ads and you only get so many a day and I really hate that I wish you could just watch them
The rip off of dhar man
You have to pay to basically use the app and I am not talking about just a couple quid to watch a whole series, you have to pay £10 to watch about 20 max, it is really investing I will give it credit there, you get about 10-15 episodes for free which you probably will have seen on TikTok. It drains your bank account, I understand that your trying to make money but use ads instead of charging me £10 to watch around 15- 20 minutes which is only 19-23 episodes which a whole series is around 80 to watch the whole thing it’s a fortune you can also watch ads but you can only watch 5 a day, it does drag you into the series and that’s where you spend your money it is £20 a week or £200 a year to watch all the episodes which most of the people watching these are teens which most of them will not have the money for that. I regret every penny I have spend it’s honestly not worth a moment of time.

UPDATE: The malfunction seems to have been corrected! Thank you so much!
First off- I’ve loved this app. However, a few days ago the app had an update. The “rewards” system appearance has changed, and although I can’t tell if there’s a difference in how many rewards we get, the system isn’t working. Let me explain- some of the ads now have a required interaction- ad for 10s, press next, ad for 10s, press next, ad for 10s, press next, ad for 10s, press done, and then you get the reward coins. The problem with this is that this particular type of ad is causing my phone to overheat and the app closes out (usually as the last ad is playing), causing me to have to start the ad over for my reward coins. Not only is it taking twice as long to obtain reward coins, but the overheating of my phone can’t be a good thing, plus I’ve noticed the battery draining drastically increase. In addition, the app has started to randomly close during a short video. After 4 days of this, I’m almost ready to be done altogether. My phone is brand new, so I know it isn’t the phone, and all of this started on the day that my update for this app was run. Without this issue, or with the correction of this issue, I would gladly raise my stars review to 5-stars.

So frustrating
This app appears so good until you use it. Acting and actors are very good however the app constantly crashes or fails to move in. I have had to watch the same episodes 5 times even though days ago I had moved onto episodes far in the reel but it constantly writes them off forcing me to return to previous ones then shuts down. This is so annoying and needs to be looked at. Constantly crashes and has got worse over the last 10 days. Too many ads, episodes are too short and rewards not playing either. Deleting and reinstalling has not worked and neither has the update. Constant messages staying the video is not ready is rubbish and the same message I’ve several days is unacceptable. You used to be so good so what is going on with your app and service? So, so disappointing
