Who let this out of beta?

Let me be frank, the experience Loop provides on iPhone, as part of a paid subscription from a trillion dollar company is completely unacceptable. A year in, it still isnโ€™t possible to duplicate pages on Mobile. Scrolling, particularly in edit mode, is incredibly jittery jumping all over the page. Worst of all the app is just incredibly unresponsive, youโ€™ll mash a blank line 5 or 6 times before it lets you start typing and donโ€™t even get me started on pasting text. Itโ€™s a shame because Microsoft really has a great concept here as a Notion clone with great UI design included with the Office Apps I already pay for, but unfortunately their undisciplined model of development has really hampered the execution. My message to Microsoft: paying customers arenโ€™t beta testers, treat them accordingly.

Buggy

Works well on desktop PC/browser but the mobile experience is unintuitive and buggy.

Needed!

I have been searching and searching for an app like this for my work.

In the Loop

I have just started using โ€œLoopโ€ for personal use. It seems to be a hybrid between Teams and OneNote, although I am still learning how to use it. I would be interested in seeing use cases from other people.

Need more features

I would like to have more features like freehand drawing.

Needs wifi to create a note?

Notion user here. Just downloaded Loop onto my iPhone 12 Pro Max to give it a try and I tapped on "New Idea". First it claimed my phone had lost its Internet connection and when I tried again it just never loaded anything. I tried the same thing on my iPad Mini 6 and it worked fine. Maybe you just have some bugs in the iOS version?

I also see that you can't share pages on the web publicly. Everyone has to sign in to see the page you are sharing. This is one of my favorite features of Notion. Being able to create a live web page almost instantly is very cool.

Needs a desktop version

The ipad version of Loop is severely limited. Iโ€™m using an iPad pro and I canโ€™t do any of the things I would be able to do on the desktop version of Loops. I also can not access the desktop version using a browser. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

Loop has a lot of stupid bugs

First, Loop works throughout our web browsers. But on iOS, it acts completely stupidly. For instance, opening a Loop link from within Teams (which implies Iโ€™m already logged into my organization) opens the Loop app, but then Loop shows an error โ€œAction not allowedโ€ and that the organization prevents me from opening the Loop file โ€” EVEN THOUGH Iโ€™M ALREADY LOGGED IN IN BOTH TEAMS AND THE MICROSOFT 365 apps and can open/see Loop files from there. Furthermore, there is no offline function, no way to export your data, and very limited Copilot functionality.

Awaiting the basics

The app is solid but is still missing a few basics and has bugs or just gaps right now.

Getting anchor links to specific parts in a doc. Commenting is clunky. And some random bugs with copy/pasting or adjusting content in a document make it hard to use with larger docs that need re-arranging.

Kind of a game changer

Remarkably useful templated activity drivers abound and can be embedded into end throughout the entire Microsoft 365 suite.
