Great Customer Service
Recently started a new job and was having trouble accessing my Origin account through SSO. I contacted customer support for help and they responded promptly and were able to get my account verified and working quickly. Robin was very helpful and kept me posted on the status of my ticket.
The Origin app has helped me track my finances and the platform is easy to use. It is easy to link multiple accounts and budget for the future.Show lessDoggie shock

Update: bugs fixed, much better now
Original: App on iPad is dysfunctional. Won’t load, freezes *every time* on splash screen (have tried reinstalling multiple times), and I can’t even open it in safari — it just forces me to open the (nonfunctional) app! iPhone isn’t as bad, but if often gets stuck loading and consistently takes way too long for such a simple app.Show lessAdam926

I love how the app looks, pretty easy to maneuver through and connect all your accounts in order to get the insights you’re looking for. I had an issue where I wanted to merge a previous account that was sponsored by my former employer, and they were able to assist me very quickly. Aside from the app being really easy to use, I think it’s really important to be able to have access to customer support and that they be friendly and helpful.Show lessNellinaB

For my first personal finance app, it’s been a pretty great experience. Some of my favorite things about this app is that it combines finance management software with financial advisors/consulting. The customer support has been absolutely incredible and they have been able to quickly solve my problems/questions. I have a great insight to my spending and budget, and I can file my taxes for free!! That’s why Origin is a total winner for me. The user friendly interface/UI is a huge plus! My few suggestions for improvement, which are already stretching, include:
Account history and gains/losses insight on specific accounts is not always visible/available. This might be more due to the vendors themselves.
Investing insights and comparisons against common indicators like S&P or on different time scales are great but wish 401K account came through with level of investment detail that other investment accounts do.
AI feature ability answer specific questions about my account details would be amazing
For the tax software, the ability to upload digital files and have them auto-populate /read the file to populate the templates would save so much time especially for the capital gains/loss worksheet
I get access to this app as a work benefit but it has become a stable in my money management. I don’t usually write reviews but had to for this app because it’s that important to me these days.Show lessRandom436626663788373

I needed a new budgeting app after mint shut down. I tried copilot and monarch which were fine but Origin has taken it to another level. The design is beautiful and I was able to move my Wealthfront investments over (they have investing and hy savings) which makes things even easier. I’ve tried so many different apps and I can honestly say I love the ease of Origin! It truly has made budgeting so much better. Love having everything all in one place. Still getting use to how the budget layout is but I’m really enjoying everything.
I love having my assets and liabilities split so it makes reviewing those items easier. I no longer freak out when I sit down to review my budget.

Origin has made a lot of enhancements lately and it’s pretty great. All my accounts sync without issue and the dashboard is easy to understand. Being able to see various balances all in one place, and my spending habits too, makes every day just a little better. I look forward to seeing what Origin does next.Show lessbxcobb

Origin is a fantastic service - been using it for years now, and impressed with all the improvements they’ve made! We were given access to Origin at my current company, and started using the app for basic budgeting and their financial advisors, which were really helpful as we navigated complicated financial situations (saving for our firstborn’s education, dealing with home employee taxes). They’ve dutifully added features that I find super helpful, such as spouse access to the account, tax preparation services, and equity management. I haven’t found a better service for understanding the state of my equity. At this rate, I’ll be happy to pay the subscription fees if I move on from my current company.Show lessStarr Rokk
