Loved it until it started glitching on me.
I’ve been using Simly to help a soul in Gaza and have been topping up their e-sim since April. Everything’s been fine up until yesterday when I tried to top up and saw there were two options to get 20GB—one for $21 and one for $4. I thought this was odd and against my better judgement, I went with the $4, hoping it may have been some sort of deal. I made sure the app was updated and opened it back up to see that there was no change. I deleted the app and reinstalled, and still nothing.
After I contacted customer service, they tried helping and asked me to check each time to see if more data had been added but still, nothing happened. At that point I asked for a refund to which they said it’d take 15 days to process. An incredibly long time. I asked them if it was even worth attempting to top up again and they told me to “give it some time.”
The soul in Gaza I’ve been helping is literally running out of time. They’ve already used up 90% of their data and I can’t even help them without risking my money going nowhere.

Terrible fraud
Took money and payment and didn’t generate a QR code and said error occurred… what about the money that it took from my bank account? It’s gone? Customer support no response.

This is the first time I used Simly. I traveled to Paris last week and decided to use this app it worked immediately after I got off the plane. Highly recommend it and will definitely use it again for my next trip to Egypt this week.
