Good, but..
There needs to be better and faster updating of the mapping. My days are almost always completed but if for some reason I don’t get the last 2 before getting home, it doesn’t matter how far I go or for how long, those last two don’t ever complete mapping, and then I miss a day. Super irritating, as the rewards are the only real incentive over any other mnvo.

Back up to five stars
I mean, the badges screen still isn't working, but other than that I think it's all good. I guess I wasn't the only person decrying the removal of the ability to pay your bill monthly with crypto...so they brought it back. They're still being just a little sneaky about it, boasting that they've just "introduced" that capability, when in fact they used to have it, then they removed it, and now – undoubtedly due to pressure from their dismayed user base – they've *re*-introduced it. But at least it's back. And it's still a great cell phone plan for $20 a month, which is the best standard (i.e., non-introductory) rate I've yet found. Mint is currently making it sound like they have an unlimited plan for $15 a month, but that's only an introductory rate for your first three months and after that it goes up to twice the cost of Helium Mobile but with a smaller data allowance...so that's no bargain. I recommend giving Helium Mobile a try. If you don't love the service, you can always switch carriers again. From my part, I'm quite liking Helium Mobile and plan to stay a while. 😌👍🏻

Slight downgrade
A new version of the Helium Mobile app just came out and it's a slight downgrade from the previous version in that you used to be able to pay your bill monthly using Helium's MOBILE token, or whatever it's called, and now your only option for using any kind of crypto to pay for your plan is to pay for a year in advance. Their marketing words this to make it sound like a great thing, but it's not.
Other than that, and the fact that the Badges screen still isn't working, I think the app is pretty great. And while this is not the place to talk about the company or its services, I will say anyway that the phone plan is pretty great too , and gives me better coverage in remote areas than my Verizon plan ever did.

Mobile Data
I’ve been using Helium Mobile for awhile now and I have no complaints. I just have a suggestion. You currently cap data at 30gb a month, after that you experience slowdown speeds. It would be wonderful if you could offer an unlimited data option as an add on. I would gladly pay extra to have unlimited high speed data versus the allotted 30gb.

Buggy
I’ve noticed after the newest update the phones are not getting the the mapping hexes like before. Either my phone or my families phones will not get the mapping rewards for the same route mapped. We hop in the same car and carpool to work and notice that at least one of us didn’t get our mapping hexes. We’re all on the newest update so that’s not the reason. The problem is that if we’re on time for work we have no time to leave and map another route before 6pm. That means we just have to miss out on the rewards for the day.

For those that feel 20$/mo is too good to be true; that’s more a reflection of just how much big Telco has been ripping us off than Helium’s offer. The truth is- most people won’t even pay 5$ a month for this plan! It rewards more than it costs!
If you make the switch, be sure your phone is unlocked, paid off, and call your service provider for a the transfer pin.
The transition is seemless & takes minutes.

Generally Happy I switched
You can’t beat the price and if you’re into crypto and you take your phone everywhere, you go you’ll farm tokens, which can be used to pay your bill. However, there is a catch you need to have enough tokens at the time your payment is due in order for it to default otherwise it’ll just pay with your credit card. Which isn’t awful, but it’s misleading because you can’t pay partial crypto and partial cash. It’s either one or the other. My only complaint is the subscriber badge. NFT is broken and will not load in my app and no one knows why.

I highly encourage people to get this plan literally the best 20$ nation wide and if you travel 15$ more with no unexpected fees and it has no contract you can’t beat that it’s unlimited and good customer support usually response within 5 minutes and they updating the app regularly

I am so thankful to coinbase for offering this in the earn section. I tried it right away and I have to say some days it to good to be true that u can get a great service better then t mobile verizon etc and get rewarded! I am so happy and excited I just wish they had this years ago so I could have saved thousands on phone bills which have just been stealing everyones money!
