Became disappointing after a few weeks…
I heard about this app from a fellow student teacher. She told me there were drops each week and she was getting free or discounted meals out of them. As a broke college student, I got the app immediately. I was very happy with it the first few weeks because all of my rewards were centered around food. It was really helpful. Since my 3rd week, I have only received reward for things like clothes and concert tickets. This is really disappointing because they’re not necessities and not beneficial to me at all. Why would I spend $50 somewhere to get $8 back when I joined the app to save money? I wish I could actually get some usable rewards again. Overall, the app is great and really helpful for a lot of people, but it is no longer beneficial for me.

It Simply Works.
Claim has been awesome! I’ve been able to explore new places and cafes every week, and I actually get money back to my Venmo. One of my favorite parts is the weekly drop — every week, you get a new coupon, and it’s always a nice surprise. Honestly, it’s a highlight of my week, and I look forward to seeing what new deals I can use.
The app is intuitive and super easy to use. All I had to do was link my credit card, and Claim handles the rest (IT ACTUALLY WORKS!). It's a great way to explore the city, try out new brands, and save while doing it.
Highly recommend!

Depends Entirely on the Week
This concept of small reimbursements for trying a new place is only really valuable for food/restaurants, which is the type of “drop” that was featured when I started to use the app a few months ago.
However, I’ve had multiple weeks of drops where the only offers are for clothing/other items online that cost far far more than the reimbursed amount (on average $5-$7), so there’s little incentive to try it if you didn’t want it already.

must-have for foodies and students (or both!!)
Claim has been my go-to app for free food ever since I entered college!! What’s so unique about the app is that it tailors its rewards towards restaurants, chains, and stores that are around your college campus. I’ve been able to discover new places around campus and eat at both new and familiar restaurants without spending a dollar.
I also love how using Claim feels like an experience, compared to other apps that just hand out discount codes. You can trade rewards with other users, and the app also has a “Drop buddy” system where you and a friend can get the same reward so that you can enjoy them together! The whole concept is so user-friendly and fun, I definitely recommend!!

I LOVE this app
I wish I would have heard of this app sooner!! As a grad student with little to no disposable income, my weekly claim is what I look forward to every week to treat myself. The app is so incredibly easy to use and I even had trouble with a claim disappearing and customer support helped me out asap. I cannot say enough good things about this app and have gotten several of my friends to join as well, we all love it!!

I Love Claim!
I learned about claim on Tik Tok! And I must say that Tik Tok still has yet to disappoint me! My campus didn’t have access to claim until beginning/ mid summer of 2024, but until then, I’ve remained on the waiting list patiently waiting for that email saying that my campus can utilize it! I have been using Claim ever since, saving so much money while also trying different foods on campus that I didn’t want to risk wasting my hard earned money on. With this app, I don’t have to worry about wasting/ losing money, or only eating foods that I am used to. I can freely be the average college student looking to try all the new restaurants and shops on campus without any worry at all.

One of the BEST apps out there!
I usually don’t write reviews, but Claim really is such a great app for college students. I’ve saved over $100 trying new places with my friends every week since downloading the app a few months ago. Not only is the app easy to use, but it actually helps students save money and stress.
I also really love Claim’s features, like Drop Buddies and the trading option. Drop Buddies helps me coordinate my Drops with my friends so we can go redeem them together, and I can trade my Claims with someone else at my school/location to get something new! I love that the team thought about this and implemented it for students to use.
I don’t know what I’d do without Claim, it has saved me SO much money and time and it’s the BEST during midterms and finals season when I’m basically scrambling to stay sane 😭 You won’t regret downloading it!!

Good for food, not for merch
I love this app for food deals. But when the only options are for some random merch that is $5 off with $25 minimum purchase (for example, a pillowcase), it is a bit useless. Also, you must order directly from the website (most of these items don’t have their own store), so even if the discount covers the item, you usually have to pay $$ for shipping. I have linked my card and shopped at most food places on it, leaving mostly unwanted merch options left - not sure I will be using this app much longer.

really good just one suggestion!
i really enjoy this app! when i’m in DC it’s very helpful and allows me to try out new places! though i wish that for the other/travelling category, there were things in the common category that aren’t shopping! maybe general food chains that may be available in most places?
Best app ever
Put all my friends on it :) it’s a great app for college students honestly. Free food and items without any incentive is actually incredible. Their team is also super nice and hardworking. When the app was new and I faced some issues, the team was so quick and kind to help. It’s so perfect now!!! Just download, you won’t regret it.
