Did not work
After following the instructions, I still get the browser selected in the browser settings of safari, with no extra option there.
Not Working here in the U.S.
Too bad. We need it to work!
It does work
This extension replaces the default Safari search engine with Qwant. The first time I tried it, it didn’t seem to do anything. I tried again and carefully followed the instructions in the App Store screen shots. This time it worked. You’ll still see the old default search engine in Safari settings, but the extension will ignore that and redirect to Qwant.

Better than DuckDuckGo
Hmm, after a long history with DuckDuckGo (DDG) and espousing all its wonders like random email generation and privacy first doctrine, I recently learned DDG actually does no blocking of Microsoft websites and the CEO has stated they would block sites that are an anathema to their beliefs. Gross DDG, simply gross. I understand Qwant, a French based search aggregate, is a wiser use-case. So, for now, I rate five stars and will remove all vestiges of DDG.

Low value
All it does is create a link to Qwant. Bummer because I use Qwant regularly. All searches default to safari default.
Good
So far so good, only had it awhile but does what it needs to do !!
