RETURNING Litter Box
I am returning the Cat Litter Box. There is some suspicious things about the app that don’t make me feel comfortable. The Apple Account Login doesn’t work and it requires you to allow your Precise Location. Both of those plus it being a Chinese company makes me very suspicious of the intent of them needing my precise location. Why would a Cat Litter Box need my precise location?!

Unusable App
Thankfully this litter box works without the app because I CAN NOT get this app to stop crashing. Within 5 seconds of launching it it will crash even without even taking any actions. Even just setting up an account is impossible. It has been this way for weeks and they have even released updates all without fixing this.

Great Litter box but terrible app
This litter box has been a game changer thus far. My house doesn’t stink anymore so that’s awesome! But this app is literally the worst ever. The only data I really get is the litter percentage in the box. It doesn’t even tell me if my cats are using it- I know they are because the bin has waste in it.

HORRIBLE App. Don’t Buy LitterBox
The app is so horrible that I’m returning the litter robot. Mind you, the litter robot is decent for an open top; however, the app is worthless and you lose most of the value of a “smart” litter robot because the app is so bad. It’s better to just buy a much cheaper automatic litter box as the benefits of a “smart” litter robot (individual cat tracking, accurate weight, error notifications, usage notifications, waste basket status, etc. - all common features in other smart litter boxes) are nullified due to a completely unusable app. It’s also very apparent that the app developers do not address any issues. Further basic things like Apple Login DO NOT WORK. In fact basic registration is amongst the worst you’ll find for “smart” devices.

Perfect for my cats
We bought this because of multiple cats. I had been a game changer. I know when something is wrong, when it needs litter, or is full. It has been wonderful.
Good app except
It has no empty function to completely clear the litter box. You can only press the button when the “litter low” button isn’t lit up. Which makes no sense. Best time to empty is when the litter is mostly gone. Why refill it only to empty it?
There’s a clean button in the app which is great for those of us who are disabled. But without an empty button, it makes emptying incredibly hard for those of us who CAN NOT bend over for a long period of time. Because of this, I cannot give it 5 stars. It’s a badly overlooked function.

Litter box works great but…
We have had the litter box for a week and the cats are using it with no problems. It’s working great. The app on the other hand does not record when it has been used…nothing really works with the app. I give the litter box 5 stars but the app unfortunately gets 1 star from me.
Almost There…
The litter box itself is great. Easy to keep clean, easy to deep-clean, open-concept so each of my cats can fit and feel comfortable while using… The two main issues I have are the app and the weight tracking, both are top reasons I chose Neakasa. The app leaves a lot to be desired. I would love to be notified of when my cats are using the litter box in real time and know specifically who is using it. The weight tracking isn’t accurate and is often misreading not only their weight, but which cat is actually being weighed. Would be great if the scale was precise AND there was a camera to snap a quick shot of who is actually in the box. Perhaps with image recognition so that the app can accurately document who is who.

Useless App
The app is not recording anything. My cat uses the box every day but there is no record of the litter box being used or cycling. I set up a camera to make certain I wasn’t crazy. The app doesn’t track anything.
Great litter box! App needs a lot of work
The litter box is a game changer however the app needs a lot of work. The bin indicator reads only normal or full so it requires regular checking, the history of who used the box is great but often inaccurate, no push notifications so you must go into the app to check records.
Dont let this deter you from the box!! It’s amazing!
