In theory this app should work… reality it needs work. Takes forever to load and open pages so frustrating

It’s a 108 MB app and downgrade from the website you already use, except that it does not let you download the actual bill and the app collects “diagnostic data” from your device.
TRASG COMPANY
I should not need an app to pay my bill because SAWS refuses to ever work on their website. I can never just log in and pay my bill. Making an app to pay a water bill is the dumbest thing I’ve heard of, but I guess that tracks for Texas utilities since we all know they’re privatized trash companies that would let us all go cold and waterless to make an extra buck.

Impossible to monitor usage
I was once able to look at my meter to track usage-look to see if the triangle was moving to check for leaks. Now I can’t read my meter at all. I have to depend on the delayed information on the app. My meter is read on the 14th of the month. Today is the 18th and I have no idea of what my usage is and what my bill looks like. I am trying to conserve water and this app does not help.

Just use the website
It’s a 108 MB limited implementation of the website that runs in your web browser, except that it also collects “diagnostic data” from you and won’t let you download your bill for electronic records, yet still needs you to verify your account number and asks for your “security questions” because hey, why put your money into a modern cyber security solution when you can just pay some web developer 60,000/year to reimplement the web site that already exists and keep the circa 2010 security features? It still uses Kubra “EZ Pay” which charges a credit card processing fee. I wouldn’t be surprised if it is just a chromium browser accessing the website with the features for normal web browsing enabled.

Track Usage?
The ad for the app says that you can track your water usage. You can’t. It just re-states the usage that’s on the bill. No ability to see real time or incremental readings.

Thank you! App works great for me, even while at work, and that says something since I usually have issues getting apps to work.
Performance
The app is very slow to load each option. The slowest app I’ve ever seen or had.
