All new users get a few free credits to try the app out before they buy, so that is not a "robbery" Also we have credit packages for all price points. Something I carefully considered when creating this app. I understand that you want everything to be free, a lot of apps have trained people to expect everything for free, Google, Facebook, etc. I am in the premium app business, I do not track my users, I do not bombard them with loud ads. I build apps for customers who want a premium experience. It's okay if Write For Me isn't a good fit for you, no hard feelings. Have a great day! ps: I respect everyone for giving our app a try but nothing said in a review will make me change my business model for this app. Using AI is expensive because of the compute power involved. That has been priced into our app as well as enough resources for me to continue to update the app with new content on a regular basis :)

I hope it never replaces humans. I view it as a helpful tool that can amplify a person's creativity and/or increase a person's productivity ie getting more work done in a shorter time frame. Yes the pricing is unique and not what most people expect. Based on how Wrire For Me is used, a credit system makes the most sense, gigantic super computers cost LOTS of money to run. There is no way to give that away for free forever or super cheap. Just like no one will give someone a house for free, most things in life cost money. The future we all want costs money to create. Personally, I am willing to pay for the things I want. But your last point is a good one, I do not want anyone to rely on AI 100% of the time, always use your own mind to guide it so that the outcome is extra amazing!

It is still early in AI, after all. Too expensive for product
If this app did something like allow for a work sample to be approved/accepted by the submitter before draining the account of “credits” (purchased at quite a steep cost), then this app might be worth the cost.
Instead, it chews up valuable time and money delivering really low quality re-writes that completely miss the idea or feeling behind the original work.

AI is not a replacement for human creativity. It is a tool to help someone create. Write For Me cannot turn someone who doesn't know how to write into a best selling author overnight. It's more like a guide as you navigate different types of creation. It seems that my app may not be a good fit for you and that's okay. There are other AI apps that may suit you better. Good luck with your future writing endeavors!
