FUN!

This is my first experience animating and it’s such a blast. The “how to” videos that are posted on their social media have been really helpful as a starting point, and it’s really fun to experiment with all the features even if you don’t really know what you want to make. I’m excited to keep creating!

No export, buggy, undocumented

The only way I can find to export is screen recording which includes the px12 toolbar (unacceptable). Lots of bugs crash the app. Lots of features do not do anything. Small brushes are hard to select— there is a very very tiny range that you have to drag. Nothing is documented so it’s not easy to tell what might be user error. The developer website lists an incorrect email, but I have emailed them and reported these issues to apple. It’s a cool idea if you want to scribble but it is not usable to me if there is no way to remove the app branding or export.

Also not obvious to me how you would create animations to your favorite songs since there’s no audio features in this and no way to sync the timeline other than manually tuning the play speed and hoping it syncs up now and again…

Disappointing and frustrating experience.

Potential but not finished

At the point of time of writing there are problems with stability , and need to be more features added to make this a worthwhile purchase. I look forward to the app being develop further but at this point in time i would avoid. Really , i don't think this app is worth money currently as it doesn’t actually work as advertised. The advice on this really is at this point in time is to just use it in specific parameters but honestly then why give you the option to use them then?
It constantly crashes and has no tutorials on how to use. If they can resolve those issues and add more features i think it would be a no brainer for a supplement to a video /vj setup.
