idk why they’re releasing it as a free app to write books if you need to PAY to write them. It never works, you can’t type it.

Correct - this is a paid app with a free trial. I’m sorry this was disappointing, but this funds future development of the app.

The actual app is average I’d say but the fact that I can get scrivener or something else for notes and writing for probably cheaper is the straw that broke the camels back.

Competing apps, like the one you mention, require separate purchases on macOS and iOS, which can result in a cost equal to multiple years of a Plotten subscription.
