Won't Refund, Charges Outside of Apple App

DISHONEST!

Clario offers upgrades and additional charges outside of the App Store, and if you sign up for one of these "bargain" offers, they won't refund your money when you cancel. You also have to contact them separately about the add-on. Imagine my surprise when I cancelled through Apple, and a week or two later I was charged for the add-on!

They told me in email that I had to ask for a refund within 14 days, and that I could only ask once. Well, the subscription renewal was monthly, and they would not honor the refund request on the second (new subscription) month. Even though I had not even used any of the services that were part of the app, and I had canceled the app a week or two earlier, and even though the new month should have been treated as a new subscription from my standpoint. Heck, how do you even use an add-on for an app that is no longer functional (no subscription to the main app) or installed?

I think it is clear all they want is my money, and are attempting to trick people into giving them more! They shouldn't act DISHONEST!

Fear-mongering for Subscribers

In a world of scams and the fear of scams, this company shows their true colors…

I downloaded this to see how it worked; however, before getting anything started it asked me for a Login. I could either Sign up or “if I had a Subscription” Login. This means that once I signed up, I was going to need to subscribe. This is just another way to take someone’s money with fear and without proving yourself first.

This is a huge “NO” for me.

Stay away it’s the opposite

They jail broke my phone and now have access to everything !!! And you can’t undo it! No more accessibility to updating my iOS on my iPhone!

I have given this app one start as I feel it’s miss leading in the way of free security app and you need to sign up free month test run if this is free it should be automatically runing once you have down loaded the app and put in details so this app isn’t free at all .

This is a scam

The service is a scam, I have sent them multiple emails to cancel the subscription for a service that I am not using, however, it continues to get bounced back to me saying mail delivery system failure, however, I use the email on their correspondence, they continue to charge my credit card every month for the last several months and has forced me to cancel my credit card because there is no way to cancel the subscription or contact anybody with this company

Charged for two subscriptions

I signed up for one month of services canceled correctly checked my the subscription was canceled I’m my app subscriptions and reached out to customer support thinking this would be an easy fix. Was instead informed I purchased a second subscription the day after I purchased the first. You can’t start two subscriptions on any other app in the Apple Store at the same but seems like Clario is the exception! The Clario app status still says my subscription expired. When I explained that 1.) I signed up for one month and 2.) have the canceled status screenshot the customer service rep told me I could see I still had a subscription in my Clario account when I logged in. Why would I log into an app I canceled in April. Also the business name does not show up at Clario it’s Massprofit Anti Spy.
Also, Good luck getting this software OFF your desktop ever.

Save money. Complete rip off

It just gives instructions for the user in one place. Multiple things to do and multiple steps in each one. If any, just a compilation. Do your own retains do yourself. Save yourself the outrageous fees and terrible support which sends boilerplate responses without any help. They are pretty defensive and then end with have a safe day or other fake nonsense. HUGE disappointment. Complete rip off. The app is more of a rip off than those you want to protect yourself from.

Clario anti spy

Just got this app so far it’s been good worked with a tech named Andrew gave me some good information and advice on how to be more secure in this new technology era you cannot be to careful ! Thanks guys for your commitment to your customers!

Does not cancel auto renew

Cancelled my subscription as the app is useless. But it still auto renewed - when I contacted customer service and it took a while - I was told sorry - nothing can be done except to see that hope it doesn’t happen again. Don’t waste your money
