Great concept, lots to develop
I really like what this all is trying to do, great seeing an alternative to the bigger players. Unfortunately the app is lacking some basic functionality and some annoying bugs. For example you can only see what’s left to play for the chapter that’s playing, not all book. The app also doesn’t remember wished playback speed, making it very annoying to change back every time.Show lessFelixvall

Beautiful and simple

Glitchy and longwinded if you read a lot
My player has stopped working—the play button produces nothing and the timer on the track does not advance. Looking at the FAQs to see what to do I see that there’s such restricted functionality that if you want to delete your audio book from your phone when you’re finished you have to delete the entire app and start again. This doesn’t suit anyone who wants to have multiple books on the go at once (as all will be deleted and places, presumably, lost) or anyone who reads a lot. I bought a year’s subscription but I’m now regretting it and will be sticking with audible. The app also does not tell you how far through the whole book you are as far as I can see.Show lesseeleach
My Spiracle companion app
A simple but perfectly formed companion app for my Spiracle Audiobooks’ library. Now it is very easy to download and listen to my Spiracle collection whilst on the move. And it looks wonderful.equentin
