Great Pp
This is a great app. You have to be a member of your local library and then link that to the app. You can then borrow ebooks and audiobooks in the same way you can as if you were visiting the library, but more convenient! Found loads of interesting reads that I wouldn’t normally go for if I went to the library.
I mainly listen to audiobooks and my main gripe is the lack of integration into Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately it encourages you to
Break the law as you have to use your phone to initiate the app. It then plays through the car, and if I press Now Playing in car play, the book comes up and I can pause/stop etc. however if you then play music through your phone and then want to go back to the book, you have to touch your phone. If the developers could integrate BorrowBox properly so a tile appears in CarPlay, there is then no need to break the law!! Otherwise it’s brilliant!
