- Minor layout updates - User guide update (Raw data import/export functionality is now covered in the user guide) - Tax Calculation Settings section update: while switching between the two options (option 1: tax calculation based upon EBT after interest or option 2: tax calculation based upon full EBIT) a popup message appears to provide quick explanation to the user about the meaning and the impact of choosing option 1 or 2. You can also find explanations about the Tax Calculation Settings in the User Guide. *** Don't forget to leave a rating and comments! - Minor update of the CF adjustement for specific years functionality: when users try to make a "capex" cash flow adjustment for a specific year that falls outside the capex plan timeframe (start and end years) defined in the "BP Parameters" section, they'll receive a warning prompt. If users still wish to proceed with the adjustment for the specified year, they can easily do so by updating first the start and end years of the capex plan accordingly in the "BP Parameters" section. Then the CF adjustement for the specified year will be possible.

- Goal Seek Tool: the EV/EBITDA multiple input used for the terminal value calculation has been added as a potential changing parameter that you can select to perform a goal seek analysis. - Senior debt parameters set out in the "Senior Debt Parameters" section are now exportable as part of the raw data import/export functionality. It allows then to export a DCF simulations that take into account the tax effect of interest deductibility that would have been set out through the "Tax Calculation Settings" and the "Senior Debt Parameters" sections.

Minor Layout Updates: -> The "Goal Seek" section has been moved closer to the "Project IRR" section, as these two sections may be used in an integrated manner when Goal Seek Tool is used under the Project IRR target mode. -> "Go to cash flows" table sign conventions update: impacts of cash flow elements such as revenues, opex, capex, etc., are represented with the sign (+/-) indicating whether the effect is positive or negative on the company's overall cash flows (see embedded user guide). Recent update 1: As part of the raw data import/export functionality, the project name of the exported DCF case is also exported, allowing then the recipient to save the imported DCF case with the same project name as the one set out by the initial sender (a prefix "I - " is simply added to indicate this is an imported DCF simulation). You can then save the imported DCF case by clicking on the "Store" button of the "Saved DCF Simulations" section. Recent update 2: Explore the new Payback functionality now available in the 'Project IRR' section of your app. Swiftly evaluate the time needed to recover your investment, measured in number of years. By convention, the purchase price is accounted for in 'year 0,' providing a clear measure of when cumulative net cash flow turns positive. Recent update 3: cash flows manually adjusted for specific years ("Cash Flow Adjustment functionality") are now highlighted in yellow while using the "Go To Cash Flows" visualization functionality. You can then rapidly identify them. Please see below the full updated description of our new "Raw Data Import/Export" functionality: => We are thrilled to announce a significant update to our application, introducing a powerful feature that enhances collaboration and sharing of DCF simulations between users of the DCF app. With the latest release, users can now leverage the "Raw Data Import/Export" functionality to seamlessly exchange and load DCF cases from one user to another. We believe that this enhancement will significantly improve the user experience and foster collaboration among our valued DCF app users. Here's below how it works: 1/ User A initiates the process: Tap on the "Export Raw Data" button. 2/ User A composes an Email: - The app will generate an email with the raw data text block already populated in the email body. - If User A doesn't use the iPhone's default email application, it is alternatively possible to copy the raw text data block from the primary text area within the app and then paste it into a preferred alternative transfer method such as an email, SMS, or any other application. - Select the recipient (User B) and send the email. 3/ User B Receives the Email: - Upon receiving the email, User B can open it and locate the raw text data block. 4/ Importing Raw Data: - Open the DCF app and go to the corresponding simulation screen. - Paste the raw data block into the dedicated text area. 5/ Import and Apply to Current DCF: - Click the "Import and Apply to DCF" button. => In just a few simple steps, User B can now load and view the DCF case simulated by User A and EV will be instantaneously calculated based upon the raw data loaded. This streamlined process facilitates quick sharing and communication of envisioned scenarios, making collaboration between users or team members more efficient. We are happy to inform our users that the raw data import functionality is now also available for sharing DCF cases that include specific cash flow adjustments for individual years (i.e. cases derived from the use of the "Cash Flow Adjustment" module). After import, your active current DCF case as User B (recipient of the raw data) will be identical to the one set out by User A (sender of the raw data) on his phone and will also reflect the specific Cash Flow adjustments made by User A in his/her DCF simulation and the type of CF adjusted will be highlighted in the overview panel as if you would have been at the origin of the CF changes yourself.
