Great app.

Great app.

App is buggy trash

Comics don’t unpack and load properly. Pages eventually load randomly after many minutes. Can’t read anything I’ve paid for. Store pages take an age to load. Payments are laggy. Just awful. I’ve read toothy since issue one but since moving to Australia I’ve given up. They can’t post reliably and now digital is hopeless. Sad.

Con

Back issues not free says they are but only a handful are, total con

Garbage

** This is a review of the app, not the 2000ad or Judge Dredd comics. **
Rebellion should be ashamed of this app, it’s not worthy of a title as great as 2000ad.
The app is slow and often non-responsive and will not give you access to your purchases. Takes forever to log in and crashes all the time.
Rebellion get your act together and take notice of these reviews.

Just keeps going downhill.

The updated app looked great but it constantly crashes now, it’s all very well letting you download your purchases but you need to go to the website and that isn’t the most user friendly site either, an option to download from the app would be a better solution, well, it it stays open long enough.

Nothing ever loads this app needs works big time

A joke

“Unlimited comics” yet you still gotta buy em even with the subscription. No thanks I’ll just buy physical. Thanks for the scam tho.

Great comic, utterly broken app

This is a review of the iOS app, not the comic (which is great). The app used to be good or at least functional, but with a recent redesign and update it is flakey as hell. New items aren’t listed for sale. Items bought are missing from library. Buggy graphics display. Many strange design decisions that have ruined ease of use. Worst of it, Rebellion have known for ages and there still isn’t an update with fixes. Very very disappointing.

Just Bad …

The app is bad, I mean really bad: a comic reading app that is very poor to actually read comics … that’s when you can log in of course … error 500 likes this app way more than I do!

Not good with large collections

The old app was glitchy and a bit crude. The new one looks nice but doesn’t present large collections well. There is no filing system, the collection is presented on a single page, out of order. Search is unreliable and the filter doesn’t update correctly. I find it really hard to browse through my progs. Please do better.

Super buggy

I couldn’t read a single page of comic, it jumps pages, reloads constantly and just doesn’t feel like a finished app. Fortunately I only downloaded a free comic.

Glitchy

Started buying the prog digitally several months ago and to say this app is unreliable would be being kind. There’s been several occasions where payment has been taken but the prog is in available to download to my library.
This weeks again, clicked buy and confirmed payment. Say unable to verify payment yet takes payment and Prog remains at ‘Buy’ and not in library.
Customer services are always really helpful and it’s sorted eventually, but should not have to contact them so often.

One star very generous

This app is appallling . Each update makes it worse. Finding old purchases is impossible. And now some purchases freeze the app.

Awful navigation experience

I have had a subscription for several years so I have quite a few progs in my library. Trying to navigate to the next issue I want to read is impossible. When progs are displayed in the library, the actual prog number isn’t shown in the title making the title useless for navigating through your library. There doesn’t seem to be a way to search for unread material. When I search for downloaded issues, I can’t then sort on date.

My subscription is about to expire and I won’t renew. My library has effectively become unreadable following the update.

Godawful app

Not worthy of this great comic. Hangs, jumps pages, terrible to navigate, like a bad app pre 2000.

Recent update

Keeping it pure and simple -utter rubbish 🤬

App is broken altogether. Latest update makes no difference.

Prog 2400 is the latest issue the app allows me to download despite having an active subscription. Previously downloaded issues from 2401 onwards don’t have the ‘Read’ footer when I look at the details page for each Prog, rendering the app useless and my sub worthless.

Why Bother

An utterly awful update. Always crashing, never saves bookmarks and only partially downloads the Meg. Why bother changing the App with is many issues. Need to urgently look into all the issues and correct them. For those of us with subscriptions Rebellion should be looking at issuing Compensation.

Seems to be getting slower to the point of being unusable

OK I have a 1st generation iPad Pro, but the app used to be simple but usable.

The last few versions have been getting slower - maybe it will settle down, but as a comic reading app, I’d look elsewhere

Can we go back to the old app?

The new app just about works ok on my iPhone, but it’s terrible on my iPad. Many pages show up as speech bubbles only and it goes back to page one of the graphic novel that I’m reading quite frequently.
