  • Omg people. Really. Grow up.

Ok, to people who say it's too hard, it's a puzzle game. It's supposed to be hard. For the people who say they don't want to have to buy the 3.0 software, too bad. It's never gonna be free unless you get an iPhone. So deal. And why don't you want to get it anyway? It has over dozens of new features, including cut copy and paste, landscape mode for most built in apps, and a search feature that can search through the whole phone. It also has bluetooth capable games for anyone who downloads the update, which means multiplayer using blootooth. iPhones and 2nd gen iPod touches can use Bluetooth. So just get it. Oh, good game. 

  • Very fun puzzle game

Pangea is a developer well worth supporting and this is a very fun game. Fun graphics and easy to learn. Good for a minute or 10 (or 30). My first complaint is that the game is confused about whether it's a puzzle game or a twitch game: the points run down very quickly and you are scored for how quickly you can arrange the tools, but it's essentially impossible on each level to quickly adjust the tools in time, the first time! My second complaint is that the tools are hard to control; I am constantly turning when I mean to move, or moving when I intend to turn. To address the first complaint, I suggest having points for solving using the fewest tools, and all tools are available (and multiple of each tool can be used). Perhaps some tools have different points on different levels. But the timer has got to go; there is nothing more frustrating than solving a puzzle and being rewarded with 0 points; ALMOST made me hang up on the game. To address the second complaint, I suggest having the four turn-grabber controls further away from the middle of the tool. But despite these nits it's a great game that I will play through. And thanks for supporting the Mac with your great games!

  • O.K. but not really what I'd of expected

When I looked at this game and read its description it seemed similar to The Incredible Machine; to be more precise, it looked a lot like the get the object to the goal levels of TIM. That's half true. It turns out the game is more a culmination of Lemmings and Machine. Let me try to put it in perspective; imagine you're playing TIM and you have to shoot a laser into a switch to keep a door open for Mel (a little person in Machine) to get home. Normally you would just place the laser by a plug, it would shoot into the switch and it would keep the door open, and that's that. Now imagine the same thing, except the switch is moving up and down and you have to reflect the laser off of three mirrors. You're forced to now move the laser around to keep up with it while also keeping track of the mirrors. It's way too complicated, and totally unnecessary, and unfortunately many of the puzzles in this game are just as over complicated as this. I want to make something that can get the job done itself, why should I have to mess with anything myself to get the job done? To its credit, this works, but it just seems weird that I can't just place something and leave it alone.

Other than that my biggest gripe is that it's hard to see the peices with your finger completely covering some of them, as well as the rotation handles.

  • Seriously Addictive

After buying this game, I couldn't put my iPhone down for 3 days straight! My eyes are red and sore and when I close them I still see the water drops falling, but it was worth every second. This game is challenging without being impossible. I love that there are multiple solutions for each level, making it a unique experience for everyone and creating a reason to replay it. The only MINOR criticism I have is that in order to see all of the puzzle at once you must zoom out so far that it makes the pieces hard to maneuver. But even this can be overlooked because of how fun the game is. I would highly recommend this game. If you like puzzle solving then this is the game for you!

  • For the $$ game is okay, not great.

This game has wonderful physics, nice graphics, & is quite challenging. However, expect a good deal of frustrating trial & error; not so much with the puzzles themselves. As stated in some of the more "objective" reviews: It will take time just to figure out the basic game play.

Another annoyance will be the quirky control. You might want to just rotate that "tool" only to end up moving it. You will find that fine tuned placement of objects is key in this game & the controls are not always up to par.

One would think that solving the puzzles challenging enough; however, a time scoring system is in place for how "fast" u solve the puzzles. The manner in which the game saves itself is such that to benefit from solving the puzzles, in terms of scoring, you must start over from scratch with the very first puzzle; & hopefully, u will remember how you initially solved each puzzle thereafter. Again, the quirky controls don't help. Just relax & take your time solving the puzzle & ignore the timer.

This is still a good game with updates for new puzzles already available. The price is fair for this game. I would not call it a "must have" game. Just one you shouldn't regret buying.

  • well.... This just kicked my thumbs in the gonads

The title is the onyl way i can explain the feeling i get when i paly this game. To start off SOUND-it has awesome sound that can get annoying at times but is over all fun and cute at the same time. GRAPHICS- amazing, some of the best i have seen on an iphone, i would compare it to about an N64, and the colors are pretty too. CONTROLS- amazing, very accurate and easy to learn and love. OVERALL- This game is amazing, well worth $2, very addicitng, even for those who dont enjoy puzzle games that much. EXTRA- something i found about this game that i really havent felt about any other game before is when you spend awhile completeing a level (of the 50) at the end of it, it makes you feel like a million bucks, i take screenshots(press home and sleep button at the same time -works on itouch as well) of my work after i beat the level it makes me feel so good.

  • Great buy! Good value for your 2 bucks!

Enigmo offers an ingenious puzzle game that is enjoyable by all. Addicting, time-consuming, thought-provoking,and plain fun Enigmo easily takes the cake for one of the best games in 2008! From its beautifuly rendered images to the sound of each water, fire, or oil droplet Pangea Software has outdone itself. It even offers the feature to listen to your music is you solve the countless number of puzzles being thrown at you. Also there is no frame rate issues despite having hundreds of droplets on the screen at one time. On top of those 50 given levels you can download hundreds more that are created by other users. All this for 2 buck?! This is a definite buy.

  • Challenging, fun game

When I first saw this app, I walked away from it because I read reviews saying that it was way too hard and unbeatable or whatever. After a while I came back to it and bought it, and I have to say it's really fun. While I do agree some levels are pretty hard and may take long enough to not receive a score, they are not unbeatable as long as you just keep trying. All of these bad reviews are from people that are used to being fed scores playing mindless button mashing games which are only a challenge for your button mashing capabilities. This game actually requires thinking, which is rare in a game in the app store and which I love.

  • Well deserved title!

"Money well spent!" That's the line that appear exactly in my mind at the moment I try out this game. Both graphic and sound are impressive, so did the level. The ability to zoom in and out just by pinching your finger is amazing for you to get an overall picture of the level. The lack of help file that explain the functionality of each tools is definitely a minor issue as you'll soon find out enough on how each tool does by advancing through each levels. So far I only managed to clear up to level 8 after spending few minutes playing this game. Definitely a fresh new puzzle game you won't find anywhere. I don't think this game will ever be such great if ported to another gaming device like Nintendo DS or PSP. Bottomline: It is the game for iPod Touch, and it will remains so even for the time to come.

  • Extremely hard but well worth it!

From the get go I knew that this game was going to be well worth the ten bucks. First it was rated the top game at apple's wwdc '08. Therefore it had to be better than super monkey ball which was the same price but had many reviews showing disappointment by the buyers. Enigmo shows great 3D graphics and quality sound effects great for any age. The first level was fairly easy but even level two really made me think. Another great feature is that you can save with six available save slots (Another reason to buy this instead of super monkey ball). This game is great for any puzzle solver or anyone who's bored and wants to occupy their mind for a bit. Again, well worth the ten bucks and congrats to Pangea for creating a stellar game experience.
