  • amazing app! well worth the $$$

this app is amazing! sure, it costs more than the other piano apps, but it makes up for that with the really good sound quality, tons of different keys, and i love the record your song feature! buy the app you won't be dissapointed!
  • Very good app!

The complaint about not being able to play more than one octave is understandable but guys if they made the keys any smaller you'd be pressing double keys.

One recommendation I can make to the developer is to make the keyboard zoom and scrollable this way a swipe takes you where you need to go rather than tap on the keyboard map. And the zooming allows you to have as many keys as you want to see.

I think it might be more efficient to move around the keyboard this way.

Still waiting for the updates.. Keep up the great work!

  • Best piano app

I've had this for a while and I must say...best piano app out there. Worth buying if you're not satisfied with the free ones. My only complaint is the menus are a bit cumbersome; it takes way too many clicks to redo a song you were recording, and i believe when you do so it resets the note length setting you had for sustain.

  • Waste of money

It's a oright app. I thought It would of been heaps good so I bought it. Wish I didn't. Waste of money. Lil dissapionted here.
  • Really Loving This!

The double keyboard is great, but I still run out of notes sometimes on some pieces of music and don't have time to scroll.

I know it's crazy, but could the possibility for three layers of keys be added as an option?

Even of not, a five star application. :)
  • Works well

This is a good app. If you're out and about and have a song idea in your head -- or if you just need to occupy your 5-year-old for a while -- then this is well worth the money. Being able to record multiple parts if a song asynchronously is also a plus.

Would like to see the ability to zoom in or out on the keyboard in a future release, i.e., view twenty keys at a time if necessary.

UPDATE: Now the app does the kind of multi-octave I was looking for. Kudos to the designer(s) for responding to user feedback!

  • BUYER BEWARE!!! UPGRADES NOT FREE!!!!

MooCowMusic does not give free upgrades!! I just paid for this app a second time thinking the upgrade was free. I made this mistake on another of their apps. So this is the second time I fell for it. I haven't had this happen with any other App on iTunes. The upgrades were are not worth paying for the app a second time!! This is one of those times I wish you could give negative stars.

  • Nice

NICE update thanks for stayn on top of things it gives the keyboard much more functionality. can't think how you could make a better working keyboard for the touchscreen really, except different sounds and effects of course but that's never ending.
  • thanks!

I just bought this software and am already impressed with it. I have taken piano for nine years and am currently working on a college-level theory course. The two-keyboard view is very easy to use and their placements can be shifted independently of each other, which is nice. I love that I can record my own stuff, change the number of keys I see at a time on the interface, and decide how long I want the sustaining pedal to sustain, etc. This app helps me a ton, because I don't necessarily have to sit at a piano to do my theory homework anymore or play around with ideas. Thanks!

  • Best piano app for pianist

I think that this is the best app for pianist because it features a metronome way better than others I've seen sold alone a FULL 88 key board and you can record and play back tracks and overwrite them and you can choose piano tone and style very responsive other apps are more expensive and they limit a real pianist.
