Misleading description

You can't really manipulate the molecules, you can only look at them

Awesome, but could be better

I remember how awesome it was when it went from only having the PDB (protein database) to also having the pubchem, even though they are on the pubchem site, I can't get things like pyrite sodium-chloride or calcite, even though you can get crazy complex molecules containing the elements that are also in those compounds from the PDB. Update for that soonish? 😏

Great but...

PLEASE make app compatible with iPhone 6 screen!!

Fond of this app

I have a soft spot for this app.

When iPads first came out, this app was on screens in stores all over the place, demonstrating the graphics and interactive touch mechanism of a device we now take for granted.

Plus, the developer offers it for nothing (unlike a lot of app developers now, who are angling for an app that will earn big bucks).

Thought it was the real deal

I thought it would give me real molecules, not pictures. Very disappointed. Maybe you should make the title a bit more clear.

OR MAYBE IM DUMB..

Not recommended

Old, outdated and crashy with poor UI design and very limited functionality.

This app is great because......

This app is great because it helps me understand all the different molecules there are in the world

Good but...

It's good apart from it deletes all of your downloaded molecules when you reopen it

What happened???

I have used this app for a couple years to show 3-D structures of basic molecules like water, glucose, DNA to my middle and high school science students. It was great! Today I tried to use it and my library if molecules has disappeared and when I search using common names like DNA or glucose I get a list of bizarre chemical formulas
I am so sad as I will now need to get another app before my next class today.

What happened to screen rotation?

I swear earlier versions allowed me to view the screen in landscape mode, but now it is stuck in the portrait position. Is there a setting I'm missing?? Or can this be fixed in a newer release? Love the app, though.
