F'ing Awesome
Excellent app.
I'm hard to please because I expect nothing less than Apples own approach.
What I hope a future version might bring is a tighter, one window environment. With any app, it gets tedious going from one screen to another.
I just realized this while using Listomni. I also realized that it would be nice for Apple to allow developers to give a user option of always having an app ready to go. A to-do list that's always ready to be viewed, even without unlocking the phone.
Also, as I mentioned above, the more we can use one screen the better. But the problem is the screen will get too crowded. Listomni already does a great job by allowing groups to expand and collapse, very fun to use and adds a lot of power to how much you can view in one window.
Good use of color, it's not flat which makes it enjoyable to use. The drag items feature is nice too. And again, I think the developer would benefit from finding a way to do all the editing and scheduling with intuitive ideas. For instance, why not double tap a group header, that creates a new activity (item), under that group, then the cursor flashes in the name field waiting for a name to be entered. All while staying in the main to-do list.
Great app. Four stars because you always have to leave room for improvement.

This is the best list app available!
I've tried other list apps but this beats them all hands down. It does take some learning but once you understand how it works it becomes intuitive and you understand just how powerful this really is. This is not just a simple list or todo app but a sophisticated database program without the techy feel. I already have a Movie list, a Grocery list, Todo list, and a Video Game list. It was so easy to add over 100 movies in just minutes. the beauty is you can be as simple or complex in the details you enter for each item. It doesn't take a lot of clicking to enter new items either. The developer made making new entries as easy as possible.
I've been in contact with the developer and he responds within 24 hours. There are some very cool features about to be added which answer many requests from other users. However there are some requests that are just not possible to fulfill. I saw one user request that he make it able to import data from web sites like movies and books to add to lists for later review but Apple would have to build that in for his software to be able to communicate with Safari. There are things just noe possible without Apples help.

Nice app
Awesome technical support for a small issue I had with my custom list. The issue was solved within 12 hours. This app is great for creating custom check lists. You can even rename the "grocery list" to a custom name of your choice. Creating your own dictionary is also available. Being able to email the lists afterward is a nice workaround with the lack of an iPhone cut and paste option.
The todo list is quite good but I wish it had an opption to create an alarm. I can not find any todo app that has this function. If Listonni had that function I would give it five stars.

ALMOST Perfect!!!....Where's The BACK-UP/SYNC FUNCTON????
Dear Ontomni,
I tuely use this ap more than any other ap on my phone. However, I recently had a malfunction with the phone and had to restore the phone to factory settings. The first thing that came to mind in knowing I had to restore the phone was my (over 100) listomni items I had stored in the ap. Now I'm reluctant to put all the items back in because (1) its extremely time-consuming to do manually and (2) What if a similar issue happens and again I have to restore the phone to factory settings and lose all my items. If there was some way to sync/back-up via internet, computer program, etc. SOMETHING this ap would be perfect. I hope the creaters take this into serious consideration, it's a huge loss and chaotic impediment to a life organized and structered on the check-lists of this application.
One more thing, can we get rid of the rotating screen? Whenever Im in the store walking with the phone in hand the screen is constantly rotating with every movement of the hand and when you go to look at it you have to wait for it to rotate back right side up which can take up to 3 full secs. The function is very useless because most people are using it on the go and would appreciate a stationary screen to quickly coordinate on. Thankyou.

Definitely worth $6.99
I am a notorious tightwad, but also an obsessive list-maker and organizer. I recently bought an iPod touch with the hope that the iPod + apps would free me from my overcrowded, scrawling-in-the-margins calendar and my chronic dependency on post-its. Listomni got great reviews, but I balked at the $6.99 price tag. I finally relented, and I have not been disappointed.
Listomni is a great way to organize all those tidbits of information floating around, such as bills to pay, gift ideas, movies or songs you want to buy, books to read, packing lists, grocery lists, etc. If you are a student, I also think that this app could make a great replacement for the traditional planner/assignment notebook.
This app is incredibly customizable. Some features are the ability to rename the lists, sort tasks by priority or category, create your own categories, create sub-lists, and enter due dates. The Dictionaries are another great feature and are customizable. The learning curve is low to moderate (simply because there are so many features). The interface is simple and well designed, though.
I've noticed only two downsides: there is not built-in reminder or notification feature, and you cannot sync with your computer. I have heard that syncing may be coming in a future release. Until then, you do have the ability to email your lists to yourself as a method of backup.

This Lives Up to it's Advertising Spin
This application does what it promises -it is a one-stop shop that enables a user to keep a variety of lists to suit different purposes with a minimum of fuss. If you are looking for a "To Do List" to help plan a dinner party and need a "Grocery List" for the things you need to purchase, and a list of guests that you can mark off as they accept their invitations, then this is the application for you. To manage this a folder system can be used to group related lists if required, and dictionaries that act as a resource for these Lists can be customized to a user's context. This means that after the initial set-up the application is intuitive to regularly used entries. Who is going to complain about doing less typing when you want to put something together as quickly as possible.
There are areas that warrant continuing development, such as the inability to transfer items between Lists and the ability to add your own numeric to match a unit descriptor in the unit dictionary, but after communicating with Ontomni they have indicated that these features are being worked on for inclusion in future updates. Also, when moving items on a List using the bulk edit feature, I have found that items don't automatically de-select when the "Done" button completes the operation. I'm confident that Ontomni will probably work on that, too. None of that detracts from the overall usability of this application.
I am very happy I downloaded this. It is fun, easy to use and it is fast becoming an integral part of my daily activity.

Engineer
I am a longtime franklin covey planner user, and this program allowed me to obsolete my paper planner. So far this app does everything I want it to do, except I think there has to be a way to view only unchecked items on the grocery list. I have a master list and I just leave the checked items on there and unchecked them when I run out. The dictionary and help options are great and it's very customizable. It really made my iPhone more functional and I don't think I could have spent my money any better.

Great product!
This “app” is exceptionally well thought out and executed. There is a real difference here. All of the other ToDo and list apps that I’ve tried felt just like that, an “app”, nothing as professional and easy to use like ListOmni. Best money I’ve spent on an “app” yet. I even feel like the all of the money spent buying and trying the others is worth it now. Without this tool, $6.99 could have only bought me few spiral notebooks and some pencils. This is a great tool, and made by a great team, check out their web site. These are the kind of people that will only be improving it in the future. Thanks for program!

Perfect for Basic as well as more Complex Lists . . more robust with recent upgrades
Great program. Allows not only basic lists- but deeper organization with sublists etc.- as required.
Quick tap to hide/expand lists is awesome.
Up and running with minimal effort (directions / program discovery essentially "built in" as lists).
Graphically polished, professional & visually assists in organizing.
Developer is responsive and thoughtful about upgrades and improvements.
Grade "A". Has made it to my home page.

Everything but the sync
I've used most all of the ToDo/list apps out there for the iPhone, and Listomni is my favorite so far. It has a great easy to use interface, looks great, has lots of customization, and has been very effective in helping me get better organized.
The developer has been very receptive to feedback, in fact I suggested the addition of comments to be sen in list view and they turned it around very quickly.
I would defintely love to see Remember the Milk or ToodleDo sync support, or some web-based syncing so we could view/edit lists on a browser.. To me that is the main thing lacking from this app, but it's not enough to keep me from giving it 5 stars. It's the best out there!
