Crash crash crash
I like this app because it doesn't use the iPhone appointment-like 'rollers' as its UI. Never could get on with them; too fiddly for my taste.
So you have a reasonable variety of measurements, but (and it's a BIG 'but') it keeps crashing on my iPhone 4 with iOS v4.3
One second you are entering a figure (dimension, weight, area, etc) and then without so much as a squeak you are looking at your Home screen and wondering whether its worth launching it again and starting from the beginning... ehm?
So I can't justify awarding more than 2 stars to an App that crashes each time you use it.
I mean, *Stability* is a MUST for any useful iPhone App? One that crashes to your Home screen is just plain annoying.
Fix the crashing problem, then you will have a useful, good quality, App.

A Brit friendly converter
Unlike most of the competition this App is designed to deal with Imperial measures and is very easy to use.
It would help if this was made clear in the advertising description.
As reported elsewhere, in converting Stones & Pounds to Kilograms you first need to convert Pounds to decimal Stone. A minor inconvenience unless you are using this conversion frequently.
I had no problem in getting an up to date currency conversion.

Un...impressed: I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble installing Converter. Installation problems, though, are issues with the App Store, not with the individual appsโit'd be like saying that "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" is an awful book because your copy got lost in the post.
You may find that simply tapping the icon will get it to start downloading. If not, turn your device off and back on, and it should become un-stuck. (You may have to visit the App Store and "buy" the app again; you won't be charged twice.) If it still won't install, please contact Applecare or visit the Genius Bar at an Apple Store; they ought to be able to resolve the issue.

Crashes, average interface
Not worth it, there are better apps, constantly crashes.

Brett, I am happy to learn that you've submitted the fix for version 2.6.2 to Apple. I love your app - when it's working. This is the second update I.ve installed that didn't work. It concerned me that I could not access your support site, your website, your Twitter accout or your Facebook account for any kind of assurance from you that you were working on a fix. My suggestion to a young businessman is to take the time to respond to your customers.....

Great Tool - chill out people
I use this every day. The developer acted quickly to fix the crashing problem, and manned up to notify us. That's way more than I could say about some app developers. Apple Just has to approve the fixed version.
We're so quick to judge. When I found the app crashing after the update, I thought, "Well, I'm sure they'll fix it soon." Guess what, they did.
In the mean time, a bunch of whiney, unhappy people are happy to trash a product rating with an inaccurate score. One star? Really? After you get your fixed version, will you fix your rating? Somehow I doubt it.
