My favorite Suduko
I’m a moderate+ level player who’s tried several different versions of the game and always returned to this one.
It’s much more full-featured than the others, has plenty of help available when dealing with hard to figure out puzzles, it’s easy to use our phone or iPad to work on puzzles we find in books or newspapers, and the author really respects our privacy! (Check out how other apps track everything there is to know about us.)
I have it on my phone and iPad and the only thing I’d like is the ability to play the same game on both devices because sometimes I have one or the other available.

A real bargain and it’s free!
Probably the best value on the App Store. Sudoku at its best. Lots of levels of difficulty and a teaching aid that is second to none. There is always a hint at hand if you get stuck. But not the simple answer, just a cryptic nudge in the right direction.
If only all apps were this good. Give it a try and get lost down the Sudoku rabbit hole!

Hands down the best Sudoku game on the App Store
I’ve been playing this game for years. The tutorials show exactly how some of the more advanced patterns work so you can learn them, or not.
The controls are another defining point of this version. You can tap a number at the bottom of the screen, then quickly fill that number on the board. This is especially useful for penciling so you don’t have to keep clicking a number then the board, then a number then the board.
Very well done. All of the things that make it a great game and none of the frills. Don’t be put off by the older looking graphics.

Only Sudoku you will ever need
This Sudoku has everything you need and none of the stuff you don’t need. You can play any different level you want. There are some fun play styles. And most importantly, it doesn’t come with a monthly subscription. The developer keeps the app updated and I couldn’t be more happy. My only suggestion is to have a tip jar so I can send a little love once in a while.

Best Sudoku on iOS
This is hands-down the best Sudoku game on iOS. It can be customized in all the ways you could want, has the best intuitive user interface, and has levels of hints that go all the way to the best online training for all of the solving techniques from basic to those used by advanced solvers. This app is perfect! Don’t be dissuaded if it doesn’t get updated frequently, because, really, if you think about it, Sudoku doesn’t change, so why would the app need to be changed? This is the only app you will ever need!
