Great Niche App!

Perfect app for those of us who are able to generate database lists and place them onto web servers for remote people to retreive up to the minute database listings, such as Inventory lists, customer sales figures, etc. need a way to remove files from the list that are no longer needed.

Nice work!

Excellent performance - very fast way to store and retrieve data files - but not designed for non-technology oriented person - requires some basic computer skills like exporting files to CSV and using FTP software. the update is working better. I had a 500 record file and it works great now! Thanks for the updates. I thing this program has tremendous potential!

Excellent application & support

I use this to keep lists of my books, DVD and CD collections on my touch. I'm sure I'll be using it for other data too. I also appreciate the way it remembers where it got each file from. This means that refreshing the data as I add new entries to a CSV file is just a matter of tapping the refresh button.

I also got very good technical support from the author as I did not realize that the website address for the public iDisk folder in MobileMe is case sensitive.

Good basic database

Perfect for basic database viewing needs. I don't want to manage my databases on my Touch - that's why I have FileMaker - just have the information at hand. This does what I need - search and sort and it's definitely worth the price.

At last a serious App!

If you would like to keep a searchable, sortable list of data on your iPhone then this is for you! Save any spreadsheet as a CSV file. I use it in my business as a quick reference to everyday information. It may be a customer list with phone numbers, addresses and contact info, a product list, stock availability list etc. It's a really useful resource and you can update it through your mobileme account so you can use any computer anywhere any time. Well done!

Did the Job

Works well, havent found any bugs. Lets me keep the lists like I want. Wish I could sort by any field and it would move to the front of the list. Well done

Add/Delete?

Needs the ability to add and delete entries. Otherwise, does what it says.

It does what it says

I've been looking for an offline English to Japanese dictionary for my iPod Touch - so far, nothing's available that works from English into Romaji and back. So I exported a dictionary on my Mac as a csv file and uploaded it to one of my sites. It has 58,000 items and is about 1.3 MB but it downloaded OK and it's searchable. It's slow, but it works.

Simple and does what it says

I tried this out and it works well. I would like to see a sample database to get a sense of how the database needs to be contructed. You have lots of options for deliminaters (I think that is how you say it) but you can't use paragraphs of text in a record field if they contain any of them. It will screw things up. This almost reminds me of a palm DB program but without the editing features. People would create useful dbs and people would use the program to view this useful shared db creations. I like programs like this that allow people to add to the functionality through the program even though this may not be intended for that. If links were available this woud become more interesting.

CSV Touch : Very Clever program

Very clever program. Not sure why the previous reviewer said it wasn't worth the price ($1.99). It does exactly what it says it does. The ability to load data from a URL is very nice (and can be easily done using the built in webservers in OSX (or windows).
