Answer to my wish!

Was in desperate search of an app to store my book DB, and this fits the bill to a T! Recent upgrade to create a link on webpage for easy update is icing on cake! I use with FTP on the Go to add entries. This is a great app! Thank you. Worth the money since I can't write an app!

Perfect for exporting from Filemaker

It will also do Tab delimited Text as well. I had to go through my database and get rid of some extraneous quote marks that interfered with it running right but once I did that it worked famously! I manually generated a "header" that was the names of all the columns, saved that file and now I just open the latest export of the file, paste that at the top and upload it to my website so I can download it into my iPhone. I have been waiting for an App like this! Now when someone calls me while I am on the road or away from my laptop, I can look up their info immediately.

Very handy utility, a must have for technical people

This is an updated review, going from 4 to 5. This app is great for keeping lists you maintain in Excel or export from a back office system. Worth much more than $2. If you can push a CSV file to a web server, you'll like this utility. The developer is VERY responsive. The 1.5 update added some handy features and interface polish, pushing it to a 5. I suspect the next update is going to make me wish I had more stars to pick from!

CRASHES iPhone on large CSV files.

After the spinning upload circle spins for about a minute it locks up iPhone. A few minutes later the iPhone reboots. The problem is repeatable. The data file I'm trying to upload does have 35,000 rows and is 17 Megabytes. But I don't see any published limitation. Is that "too large" in this day and age? (I'm wanting to upload a product catalog for our company.) The problem reliably reproduces. The CSV file was produced by Microsoft Excel for Windows so should be a good file. It is not an FTP problem since I can access the file from my laptop. It does seem to work for trivially small files. However I don't see anywhere to "search" for a specific record. Darn.

Installed ok but didn't load at first

Initially crashed with "Initializing cached data" Sent email to support. Very quick response (20 mins). Problem ended up being my phone as another app failed with same symptoms. I reset all settings and both apps installed fine. Application itself looks great, the more I play the more I like it. Highly recommend looking at the instructions http://www.ozymandias.se/Ozymandias/Reference.html

Great DB Viewer

I just threw 900 records with 8 fields at it and it is very responsive. I will likely use this app every day and have moved it to my home page. Excellent work!

Wish I would have passed on this one!

Not very user friendly. Having a difficult time getting data loaded. Waste of time... unless it is made easier to update database.

The Business

If you want to store data records on your iPhone this is the business. It is easy to export data from practically any database app. I use mine for club membership records. The app looks good, and so does the website.

Very useful

CSV Touch works great and - for me - is just the right thing to keep long lists with telephone numbers w/o spoiling my normal address book. A few more tweaks to the interface and it's pretty much perfect (e.g. making the "Search" function easier to reach).

This Is a Great Program !

Been using it a week now. It works great with Excel on my PC for creating and managing simple data bases and lists that are easy to read and sort on my iPhone.
