Made me yearn for the old days
I first played apache lander the helicopter version of this game. It was very hard, high gravity and vertical tilting didn't always work. This game is so much better, has lower gravity and is easier to control. Lunar lander was one of my favorite games in the early days of computers. Also has indicators at top of screen that let you know what might be wrong with your landing/crash.
My suggestions for future versions:
Multiple levels, differing gravity levels with fuel to match. Levels in landscape mode with scrolling background and multiple landing sites. I'm just remembering what the old games had in them. I remember landing inside of a cave, so you had to maintain your altitude while you were moving horizontally. The only bad thing was poor graphics. Alot of the old games had great play value but poor graphics.

Love It! Bring on the challenge!
Simple yet challenging. This game will really get you in shape in utilizing the accelerometer of the phone. This game is extremely difficult but does get a little easier over time. I'm not sure how the scoring works. Best I have is 9257.
Sound
A lot of fun to play but it's really annoying how you can't turn the sounds off.

Gotta say, its a silly game, but I have played it over and over and over. Top score for me 9000+ and i'm not even sure how I got it!

No instructions, no calibration (can't play laying down), no fun.
Best iPhone game yet!
Quite difficult at first, but as you master the controls it becomes really fun to try and beat your previous high score. My best is 9184!

Wow, there's a differance between hard, and bad. Just because your not good at a game does not make it a bad game. It's a fun/simple game that takes skill and patience. And it's free.

Perfect landing. Same with lander. Fast level and soft baby. Tough not impossible. I land every time now, it's just a matter of how quick soft and level to get big points. Ithaniyou
Simple, yet fun
It's like being able to land the LEM. It is a bit challenging, but once you remember to land on the pad and not just anywhere, it's not to. Very simple; no levels or anything, but good for a free app.

this game is so annoying! I have never even gotten close to winning and it just frustrates me and I just hate it!! ugh
