Great app
Used this app on 3 win 2003 servers without any problems. It is perfect for my needs, which is connecting to the servers in a hurry to gauge/fix any issues. The only downside is no fault of the app and its the screen size. I reccommend using a stylus to help click some of the smaller buttons.
Will consider the full version woth added features if I start to use this app more often, which I think is more than likely!

Seems to work well
Installed and worked well. I need to do more testing, so far it looks great. I'm considering the full price version. For those complaining, keep in mind you need to enable remote desktop in XP first. Search for "configure remote desktop XP". Also, if you're behind a router you'll need to configure the router to redirect traffic to your machine. Search for "configure remote desktop router XP". It will require some comfort level with computers though. Good luck.

Works great
Good program. Worked first time. For those who gave it 1 star because you can't get it working, I am surprised you even worked out how to submit a review. Do some research on port forwarding before bagging this software.
Trouble shooting
If u r having problems connecting to a PC over wifi, it is because that if your computer is coonected to the router by cable it wont work with a computer connected to the router by wifi. For me this is the best app!!
Poor
After installing this app and running it once, when Ipod Touch went into sleep mode it also stopped responding to the power button being pressed, could only wake it by plugging it to computer, and even then if put into sleep mode cannot be woken til plugged to computer again. Once app was deleted, the Touch booted up faster from off to on, response from sleep mode was re-engaged, etc
App it self was ok, but nothing to write home about, just the glitches that occured put me off from trying out a full run of it

not the real thing
well, it works but it is very limited (low color depth, etc.). found a much better replacement: iRdesktop which is also free and has lots of addotional features!! And one thing I want to say to all this braindead reviewers here complaining about not being able to connect to xp home or vista home: these systems do not have support for rdp. you cannot complain that a car is crap just because there is no highway available! if you want to connect to xp home or vista home using any rdp client you have to install some rdp terminal server software like e.g. thinstuff xp/vs server! so don't blame mochasoft for this but microsoft because they did not add this service to the home editions.

Surprisingly Works as Advertised - Check website for instructions
Works! I tested this by opening folders, browsing the web, even using the instant messenger on my notebook, viewing movies, etc. Of course there is lag and the resolution isn't exactly as clear as the desktop which is expected due to the intensive task of what this app is trying to get a phone to do. After logging back onto my computer I did notice that my folder icon looked different and a few other minor things. and btw, READ! the requirements are LISTED. For XP-Pro only!

works great, its just lite.
doesn't have all the features some of the paid apps have but very good none the less. Please don't listen to the people giving this app a 1 star review because it doesn't work with XP Home or Vista Basic. These OS's don't support remote desktop, its not the apps fault. Before you use any rdp app you should learn how to use RDP and have it setup and working correctly from PC to PC, then get this app.

No Need for My Laptop...
So far so good, I use this software to remotely adjust my Windows 2003 servers and access my XP Professional computer. Future ideas would be to drop the desktop wallpaper when logged in so it doesn't slow it down and also to allow for login to Windows 2003 Server without taking over the primary user on the server. Otherwise - super app! Thank you!

Too hard to connect
Same here. I have spent ages on two different PCs running xp and vista on separate networks with no joy at all. It either can't connect, or host closes the session, even when all firewall exceptions are in place. i have tried ultravnc and Realvnc. So i have given up. Probably a useful app, and it is possible that windows is just to hard to comunicate with etc etc. Its 2009, why two gadgets can't communicate a work out their own port settings etc is beyond me, all I want to do is enter a password and I'm in.
