  • Great resource

This app came in very handy during my recent trip, including giving me local numbers and the invaluable "nearby" feature. I do wish that more non-resort restaurants were included (e.g., Stripburger, Peppermill) even if it were only the most popular ones at first.
  • Nice!

I downloaded this app tonight. It's absolutely my favorite right now I travel about 25 times to Las Vegas it's nice to have an App like this even though I know my way around pretty much but all the information you're providing with the news and all the shows and what's going on in Las Vegas. It's priceless! My suggestion is to add site map of the resort most resorts have their own inside maps please add this and this will be a five star all the way I believe you will leave the competition behind you so much. Thanks

  • Disappointed in this app

I purchased this app 2 days before going to Vegas. I was looking forward to using it to find great stuff to suggest to our group. Instead, it kept crashing over and over again. When it finally did work, there wasn't a whole lot to it. It just tells you what is around you, which you can pretty much already tell by looking out the window. I wanted a searchable feature so I could look up this restaurant where my companions wanted to eat, but because I didn't know which hotel it was at (Wynn Encore), I couldn't find it until we were a few yards from it. Seems like this one still needs a little work before I call it the definitive Vegas app.

  • Actual facts by a real person

The person who wrote the above 5-star review was also used the same writing style as the person who fudged some of the short reviews. Some of the reviews are 10 years old and have little value. Don't bother, not for £3.00. Sorry mate, but it's rubbish for the price, just a smoke screen behind some old meaningless data. I want my money back.

  • An Okay Add-On

    On a personal scale of 1 to 10, I give this succinct, color-infused app a 5.
Had I read throught it's components more thoroughly, I'd have realized ALL listings are casino-based only.
Which eliminates an entire sector of truly great restaurant options.
While I appreciate the range of restaurant choices the casinos offer, many "Best of's" cited by the Las Vegas Review, LV's primary newspaper, are not mentioned because they are not located inside a casino.
I look forward to an upgrade that offers menu views of a given restaurant listing.

  • Works great for us!

This app has been a very handy tool in Vegas. We've been 5 times in the past 4 years, so know the strip pretty well (wouldn't need a map). What we would love is a listing of poker tournament schedules for each hotel (at least the more popular ones). Maybe show times and entry fee? Just a thought =).

But for $5, it has a lot of useful features! I'm sure the reviews will start filling in more as the popularity of the iPhone & apps increase.

  • Not bad tool for your Vegas trips

This was one of the first iPhone apps I purchased and I still like it. I travel to Vegas 4 times a year and use this tool to find phone numbers for restaurants, shows, etc. Proximity helps as well 'cause verything looks closer in Vegas.
  • Don't waste your money here!

I downloaded just before heading to Vegas. Every restaurant and show we went to, I looked up on this app. The results were either outdated (reviews from 2002 and 2004!!), or not listed, even though a popular spot. Also the $$$ rating don't accurately dictate the actual price of meals. Don't waste your money.

  • Good with much potential.

Once this gets more reviews this little app will be very handy. Right now, it's pretty useful if only to get quick access to hotel and restaurant info as well as easy one-button dialing for reservations. Makers should charge less though so that they get more users and more reviews.
  • Missing a lot but still could be useful

The concept behind the app is sound, and in practice could be quite useful. When we wanted to eat a buffet but found the line too long, the app was very helpful at noting the closest restaurants including other buffets. The Tips section is useful and (where present) the editorial reviews are good. Now, this app is missing a lot of things - most of which are stronger descriptions and more editorial and reader reviews. As such, the $5 price is borderline. The maps don't really have a great view of how large the casinos actually are, and floorplans would be even more helpful. An ability to sort restaurants by type (buffet, steak, etc.) or by rating/cost would be most helpful. Still, the app did save us a couple times on our most recent trip. So if you're going to Vegas this is hardly the worst $5 you'll throw at your trip.
