Essential App for your Vegas Trip!
Have an iPhone or iPad? going to Vegas? Then you need this App, End of Story.
Taking advantage of the ability to pinpointe your Location, Not Only does it contain all the vital info on Hotels/Shows and Food, in the latter case it will also tell you if that place is open right now. It was a great saver for us, when it came the the magic question, "so what so we want to eat now?". On more than one occassion it came up with answers on where, what food type and if it was any good!
Wether you are a first time vistor, or Like myself, who has lost count of the number of times he has been, with Ratings, Price Points and Peer Reviews, you will find it an essential companion to your visit, hey its even good for planning beforehandShow lesstxbrit70

I live in the uk but am a Vegas nut. We have been 12 times since the early 90s our last trip was in may. This is a great app I look at it most days and see what's going on in the concierge section. I have put reviews on most things we did during our trip. Great app and keeps getting better.garyw160

This app has everything you need for Vegas. I've bought every Vegas app available and nothing else compares. AND the author updates it constantly! He really puts a lot of work into it and it shows. I love this application. I really like the concierge part as well where it's all the news on what is going on in Vegas. Not all of it's relevant in that section but you pick and choose. Good value for an application gives you an idea where to stay and what's going on. I can't believe anyone would rate this as one star! What the hell were they expecting? Update needed
I have had this application for almost a year, and I have loved it. For all the reviews and many places to dine, see great shows, and get great deals on the hotels in Las Vegas. But since the new update the App. has become unstable and crashes numerous time. Where it has become too much of a hassle to run the application anymore. They really need to fix the new update there some really bugs cause it become almost useless.
Revise: Still get crashes from opening up reviews on certain hotels. Mostly the App. is stable but still is pain when looking up information and you booted out and have restart again, again...Show lessgothico2020
Vegas Mate: Perfect for casual tourist
Just tried this app out. Unlike some of the less optimistic reviewers, I think this app has A LOT of potential & already functions very well as a quick guide to Vegas. Now- I am not a person who has all the Vegas info ' in my head,' so it proved well worth the $4.99 I paid for it. I am waiting for the updates and personally will keep using this app for finding stuff to do that is *around* me whilst in Vegas on the fly. unbelievably good vegas resource
Vegas Mate is the de facto standard in iPhone OS Las Vegas resources. there is so much information and usefulness in here that it just blows my mind. especially since the app is only TWO BUCKS... incredible. paper travel guide? no thanks, the info in here is more recent and better organized for my methods of operation. not to mention, this developer is a fiend for updating the app, i don't think he ever sleeps.
as for the kooks that complain about 'finding all this on the web' - nothing does Vegas with the ease-of-use and elegance of Vegas Mate, including other vegas travel apps in the store. if you're the kind of lamebrain that fears spending TWO DOLLARS on a guide that might SAVE YOU HUNDREDS, why are you going to Vegas in the first place?
I use vegas mate before, during, and after every Vegas trip (several times a year!) INDISPENSABLE, there's just no comparison to anything else.

If you dig Vegas
I don't know about you, but if you are the least bit hooked on Vegas, you should have this app. I was reluctant at first, thinking it would only be worthwhile when I was in Vegas. Wrong -- it does a great job before you go, helps you plan with reviews of hotels, places to eat, things to do, etc. Plus, it keeps you up to date on the latest Vegas news.Show lessJARME
