Nice design and great community
This app has a really nice aesthetic and I love learning about the weekly changes to my body and baby. By far the best part for me is the community forum - where you are put into a group for your baby’s birth month. It has been reassuring to read and ask questions to other mamas to be, on occasions a little worrying (miscarriage posts can be anxiety inducing), but overall a resource I have really depended on so far in my pregnancy. It does tend to be very American centric, so I sometimes check the babycenter app for more Australian oriented stuff. Definitely recommend this app :)

Peace of Mind
I used this app from 5 weeks and love the updates. It’s great to know what is happening to your body as a FTM as a lot that came with pregnancy was totally unexpected to me....like eye sight can play up while pregnant? For real!
The best part was the forum. Seeing other women asking questions and discussing what the heck was doing with our bodies. It was so reassuring. There were a few scary ones of people experiencing losses and early labour so if you have any kind of anxiety - read the headers before clicking 🙂

The BEST!!!
I cannot recommend this app enough. It has been such and invaluable help since the beginning of my pregnancy and unexpectedly so, even more postpartum now with a baby. The mommies forum it comes with is the greatest resource this app offers and it is all FREE OF ANY CHARGE! I cannot thank enough all mommies out there using this and sharing resources, pains and gains, and more so thanks to the developers. Such a great, beautiful thing to put out in the world for the betterment of mommies and babies everythere 👏👏👏

Be Wary of Boards
This app is nice in that it shows you your pregnancy’s progress and allows you to know some fun facts about your baby’s development each week. But - beware of the community boards. I thought it would be nice to bond with women in the same stage of pregnancy. Talk about good products or talk about your symptoms. There is some of that, but very little. Instead you find the first month or two it’s just a bunch of women posting their negative pregnancy tests asking if we somehow see a positive line in the picture that they don’t see, then it’s mostly very uneducated posts asking people to guess gender based on Chinese calendars or your gut feeling. Many moms to be give really bad advice, like eating dangerous foods, being ok with smoking as long as you’re trying to quit at some point, and other really shocking things. I feel like no one posts anything from a reliable source and a lot of what is asked could be so easily googled. I try to answer with data because I feel bad for people who truly don’t know and are possibly causing harm, but the amount of encouragement for people who are choosing to remain uneducated is very high. I would stay away from the boards.

WTE been with us all along the pregnancy helped us a lot!
With this pregnancy being new thing to us, everything came as a puzzle. Let alone the puzzle, we didn’t even know what to expect. That’s when I found what to expect community. It gave us the info that you get a free welcome goodies for the new pregnant moms. You guys have amazing community filled with all helping hands. Heidi Murkoff with all her weekly videos and the app kept our journey exciting with the great counters and baby size perspectives. Just love it.
We don’t have much friends. What to expect gave us ton of tips all were invaluable. And everything is free. We had our beautiful little princess born last week. And WTE is still helpful for the post partum moms.
Also, we just bought a book, ‘What To Expect The First Year’ by Heidi Murkoff. It’s an amazing book with a myriad of helpful info.

Very useful and informative app to have for pregnancy
This app is such a good way to keep track of your pregnancy! It provides useful information/facts daily, keeping you up to date with the latest. Every week the app shows you roughly how much your baby has grown and also gives you a video showing you how your baby is developing. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and have found this app really helpful throughout my pregnancy.

I love it!
I love this app! I love being able to follow along with the progress and size of baby. The videos are nifty and the progress updates are informative - it’s cool being able to look ahead at what to expect in the coming weeks.
The book I found really focused on the negative but this app I get excited to look at everyday!
I also like the emails I get with chat topics from other women with the same due date - really interesting!

Very Helpful
As a first time father-to-be, the info this app provides has been extremely helpful. My partner has also said that the info is surprisingly accurate with how she has progressed through the first trimester. I would recommend.
Love the app, but size of baby is not accurate.
I love this app as it is super helpful to me and it shows me symptoms I’m having and I’m able to verify they are normal. I also love reading what the baby is doing in my belly and how she is developing, however, the size of my baby is not accurate. I’m 19 weeks and 2 days as of right now and the app is saying she is as big as a mango. But, last week the app stated she’s as large as a cucumber. So I went ahead and skipped to week 20 and it’s staying she will be 6.5 inches, then I skipped to week 21 after that and it said she will be 11 inches. That did not seem right to me, so I went ahead and googled how big she will be around 21 weeks and google says 7 inches. I know my OBGYN and ultrasound can show me how large she actually is, but it would be nice to know while I’m at home the actual size of her because I have to wait 2-3 weeks, sometimes 4 to see her on ultrasound.

Unbelievably Helpful!!
It took me years to consider even having a child. Then years to actually get pregnant. Now in my wise old age ( don’t you dare ask!) I felt like I actually knew nothing!! What to Expect book was a godsend and answered so many questions I didn’t knew I had. So when I found the WTE app, it was an easy option for tracking my pregnancy and most helpful postpartum. I shared this app with my mother-in-law and we gabbed endlessly about our growing new family member. It was a perfect way to bond with her
The weekly emails and access to interesting articles gave me life while sitting in bed with a baby attached to my body!! Articles take you week by week on what actually to expect!! From fetal development, expecting symptoms, to baby sleep and eating cycles!! Again knowing nothing before motherhood, I felt totally engaged and informed reading through the app and site!! I would encourage mothers of every age to download the APP!!!
