Love it!

The best pregnancy app!! Easy to navigate and lots of information

Awesome!

Finally a free app with free helpful articles! I kept looking for a good one, my friend recommended this and never needed anything else!

Educational, but ads make forums difficult to read

I love connecting with other women via the forums, but every time I try to read them I get interrupted my ads force opening safari. This will happen multiple times while I’m reading the same thread and then I just get so annoyed I give up. The app is otherwise good - educational with nice videos for each week. Just wish the user experience wasn’t interrupted by ads making me leave the app.

Love this app

I saw another person leave a very detailed review on why they love this app, and I could do the same. Finding out you are expecting, regardless of the circumstances, is a life adjustment that can sometimes feel isolating. I found myself wanting to connect with others who were on the same journey as me. This app sold me when I discovered the community feature which allows you to connect with others based on a myriad of things - due date, ethnicity, gender of baby, single mom, preemie mom etc the list goes on and on. I joined a group that was specific for moms all due the month my daughter was due. It was so nice to connect with other moms who were experiencing similar symptoms and changes at the same time that I was. It was insightful, comforting and fun to share with one another. I also loved the weekly videos and updates on the app for each part of the pregnancy journey. This app was my favorite out of all the others I tried

Kiara, it is not every day that we receive feedback as detailed and thoughtful as yours. But trust us when we say that it does not go unnoticed. Your comment has given us valuable insight into the What to Expect Community. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.

imperial measurements/ very American

This app uses imperial measurements in all of its content even if you change it to metric. The texts and the videos. In general this app is very American in every way and often doesn't feel relevant to me. Especially in its suggestions of various drugs and medical interventions which would be considered unnecessary in different countries but seems to be commonplace there. Also a lot of its advice seems to be around American health problems such as being overweight and poor lifestyle choices.

Got me through my pregnancy

This was my first pregnancy and the first trimester was hell. Extremely sick. Second trimester was tolerable. Third trimester the pain in the legs and lack of sleep… WOW. But this App really gave me some answers, insight, and closure to some help o needed to know on the spot, rather than the anxiety of waiting to speak to the Dr the next business day.

So thank you What to Expect! You truly assisted me in surviving this pregnancy!

For Any Parent

This app! I love it so much. Now I used this app for my third pregnancy (just last year) and my goodness such comfort. For myself not every pregnancy was the same. This time I had fatigue (I mean I’d wake up from 2 hr naps exhausted) it was a peace of mind knowing that was a common symptom at that stage. It was completely new for me. I loved tracking the size my baby was growing. My other 2 children getting involved, wanting to know which fruit can we compare the baby to now. The discussion boards are wonderful. Comforting knowing there are parents out the with same experience as you as well as tips to assist. The great thing is that it doesn’t stop after birth. My baby girl is going on 3 months in 6 days and I’ve gotten great insight on what to expect. My last one is 5 years older so you don’t quite remember how the early stages went. I especially appreciate the daily advice. Love this app! Now they have journal entries and tracking for baby. Like diaper changes and feedings! Perfect 💕

New parents check this app out!

I don’t usually write reviews but I felt like during the time of finding out you or your partner is pregnant there’s a lot of searching for the right apps, people, or products you should use and so I wanted to make it a little easier for expecting parents to see someone who cares about what they are going through and hopefully you won’t have to continue app searching after my review. I am expecting a baby girl and I am 5 months along. I have used this app since the beginning of my pregnancy and since then have tried a few other apps just making sure i’m using the one I enjoy the most. What to Expect has lots of awesome features hence why I love it. It has an option to show you how much your belly will grow along with your baby size week by week. If i have any upcoming events happening I love to see what to expect when the date comes along! I also really enjoy the fact there are multiple short videos every week for you to watch about what your baby will be developing in the womb week by week. Something else I really like about this app is it has a community area where you can join groups that fit you and you can ask whatever questions you would like or you can read over already asked questions or give advice of your own. It’s a great place for you to feel better when weird side effects come along. Definitely try out this app!

A must have for every mother to be!

The app and the forums are just brilliant! Being able to share & hear experiences from other mothers to be, due around the same time as you is awesome. I particularly love hearing about symptoms other mothers are experiencing that mirror my own and that are happening at the same time as me!! Let’s you know how normal it is and that it’s not just you, it’s actually a thing!
