Perfect app for sleep
Nice clean and simple UI and nice selection of sounds. It’s been my sole sleep app for years now.
I purchased it to support
The free version did everything I needed it to, but the full version app was $1 and it’s helped me so much I had to. My Spotifys algorithms got so annoying listening to white noise on there every night. Great stuff.
Old and lots of bugs
This app still looks like it’s 14 years old like something from 2009. I have had this app now for over 5 years. It used to work great but now a lot of things are broken and the layout is a total mess. Another negative is that the developer has forced its users for no reason at all to download a separate app after you have this one, just to be able to add in extra sounds to this app. This function could have easily been added into this app but it wasn’t and now I have to have 2 apps taking up space on my phone for this 1 thing I want to achieve. The UI is in desperate need of updating: the bottom menu bar is really useless as one of the 5 available buttons is, ‘download’, which kicks you out of the app and sends you to the other app. I don’t want this on my menu bar. You would think there would be a button on the menu bar called ‘sounds’ that allows you to view a full list of sounds to play, but there isn’t. Why not?? Instead I have to open a side menu to find that function when it should be on the fixed bottom menu. I also confirmed the following bug: -Changing the speed and variance when editing sound in a mix no longer changes anything and the sound for speed and variance remains exactly the same. Unless the developer fixes the issues and gives a better and more updated UI more in line with 2023 and iOS17, I would recommend avoiding this app. It has good sounds but the app experience is just very old.

Great and really helps.
I have tried many of these apps and keep returning to this one. Downloadable sounds, high quality sounds, settings to fine tune, it is all just perfect. I can’t recommend it enough.
Drains battery
I’ve used this app happily for years when I sleep at night with my phone plugged in and charging always to 100% overnight. But in the last 4 months I noticed my phone wouldn’t charge past 60% overnight. I thought it was my phone that was the issue and went through weeks of troubleshooting with no fix - only to find out it was the white noise app that was doing it. Switched to another sleep app and my phone went back to charging to 100% and working perfectly. Very disappointed in whatever they decided to change in the app recently and can no longer recommend it. Also should mention it can sometimes crash and will wake me up in the middle of the night - another recent development that never used to happen.

Amazing app!
We use this instead of medication to fall asleep, especially good for overtired kids who can’t wind down. Kids love me making sounds for them. I just discovered the market and uploaded my first sound. I re-live the holiday moment I recorded it with my 11yo and love it. Thank you! 💚
Best Sleeping App For Kids
I’ve had this app for eight years. I have played it to my kids while they were in their mommy’s tummy and now, years later they still sleep to it at night. It quiets their minds and helps them to relax and drift off peacefully.

5 ⭐️ solid
I bought this app in 2010 with the birth of my first child. Out of hundreds apps I owned in the last 14 years, this is the one I kept using it for different reasons, including my other three children. Over a decade ago, even the New York Times paper published the innovation behind this app. If you are looking nothing more than white noise, this is the 5 star app. There might be others but this app has been getting the job done for me since 2010. So good that even got me to sweet dreams while holding my kids when they were babies. The list of white noises were perfectly chosen, as well as the ability to mix them like a typical campfire by the sea, or storm in a forest. Since 2010, my essentials in a diaper’s bag are: diapers, formula, wipes, water, and my phone with the app in it. The rest is accessory. This is not like many other app to please your personal test; it’s actually a problem solver.

Good but uses a lot of battery
This is a decent app with lots of sounds. However when the white noise is playing it clearly uses a lot of processing power as the phone gets warm and the battery goes down very fast. Would be good if the devs could make it more efficient.
