App is completely inaccessible when trying to record a your own sound using VoiceOver.
The app is brilliant aside from one really annoying problem! When using VoiceOver to read the screen, you cannot record your own sounds as it is completely inaccessible so is therefore useless to a blind person. It’s even more infuriating being as I’ve bought the app. And if a user is paying for the premium features it should be accessible to all and not just sighted people,

I LOVE this sketchy app
I have been using this app since at least 2013 and I’ve loved it. Sometime last in the last year or two the free app I had been using all the time would quit if I went out of the app. I hated that! So I paid the upgraded subscription - it felt totally justified after my very happy 7 years using it for free! - price just to avoid the app quitting when I went in and out of it. But it’s a freak’n hit or miss situation - totally frustrating! - that most of the time the app will continue it’s sound even if I’m not “in the app” but way too often it will turn off if I go out of the app. I’m giving an app I LOVE 2 stars because it’s ridiculous that there’s no consistency that can be counted on in regards to how I want this app to perform. If I want the white noise airplane sound on to drown out my loud sister so I can scroll Twitter *peacefully* lol, then I want it on. I don’t want it to go off just because I’m using a different app - ESPECIALLY since 90% of the time the app acts “normally! - I want to be able to drown out my sister regardless of going from the White Noise app to another! Membership ($’s) should have at least that privilege!
UPDATE: I updated the app and now it seems to be working like I above complained it didn’t! If it remains true to its old form, I give the app 5 stars!

I’ve used this app for about 8 yrs now. I use it for sleep or just to flood my house with rain noise while I study.

It was a great app when I was able to lock my screen and have it play…. Now that feature has gone away I’m ver mad about that I don’t understand taking away such a simple thing
Perfect Mixes
Allowed me to create the exact mix of sounds I find the most relaxing for sleeping with a couple of easy downloads from the great selection on the Market. Being able to fade in a mix as a gentle wake up is a feature I didn’t know I needed but I’d now indispensable. Worth every penny.

The best white noise app.
I have always slept with a fan on since I was pregnant with my first child.
I find it impossible to sleep without that background noise now so when I go on holiday it can be a problem.
I searched loads of white noise apps and tried them all and this app is by far the best.
The sounds are so similar to the real thing, you can mix and blend the sounds.
There is a timer and you can make your phone become a clock face whilst the app runs.
I have purchased the full version now as it’s so good and the price is very reasonable.
It seemed only fair for the app developers to benefit in some way. This unlocks other sounds and features. It is reasonably priced.
As a midwife I have been recommending to my ladies with new born babies looking for a white noise app.

UNRELIABLE.
DONE. UNRELIABLE. MUSIC “PLAYS” BUT WITH NO VOLUME SO FORGET ABOUT WAKING UP TO IT! TIRED OF WAKING UP LATE BECAUSE THE MUSIC IS AT VOLUME LEVEL 0.
UPDATE:
I don’t know what they did on the most recent update, but since then my music alarms do not go past half volume! I do not have fade set, and I learned a LONG time ago to check my music volume (since it is separate from the sounds volume) before setting the alarm. I play a little random music, make sure the volume is all of the way up, and then set the alarm. While a PITA, at least that fixed the issue of the alarm going off with no volume but now it just sits at half volume! NOT GOOD! For now I’ll keep with it and trying but after years of using the app and lots of downloaded sounds, I may end up changing after all to something that wakes me up instead of me waking up before it.

That is probably my only complaint. I’m good as long as I remember to check the volume of my music before going to bed. Quite a few times the sound was all of the way down so no alarm. But it is really annoying to have to keep sounds I will never use like the drier, fan, clock, etc. they are just annoying to me- please pick one sample like waves to have to keep and let us delete the others!

Used for longer than I can remember
Great app and it’s free! Sound choices are many. I stick with a mix of rain sounds myself. I was able to give up my year round fan use, which was too drying for my sinuses and took up too much room and needed an extension cord.
My husband is a music producer and doesn’t care for a white noise background when sleeping, so I use the app with one earbud.
The sounds help drown out thevhusban’d snoring, while still allowing me to hear my kids if they call out during the night.
I am an insomniac and take naps during the day. I don’t use the earbud then, and again the sound is perfect for drowning out my boisterous teens while I sleep.
My only complaint is that I use it on my iPhone and alarms will still go off, but not in my Bluetooth earbud. Otherwise this app has so many sounded choices, can custom blend your mix and save it, and has great setting choices.
Its the perfect app. My two daughters use it too m, but their mix is different than mine and that’s part time f the perks.
I cannot recommend this app enough!

Issue with IPhone
I really love this app, the sounds are amazing and you have a huge variety. The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because I’ve been experiencing an issue with the app. When I click on the app it comes up and acts like it’s trying to open, then poof the app kicks out and closes the app. I have to click on the app several times to get it to open. Once opened the app freezes and will not open . I’m not sure about what’s going on here, if it’s an iOS issue or a app issue but hopefully it’s fixed soon as I paid for this app.
