Reviews of SBB Mobile

Good but has problems

Pretty good at displaying info. The prices being displayed are not obtainable though, what’s the point of showing half fare when it knows there is no half fare card? Why not say from free if you have a pass?? Also if it freezes all the time trying to get location service

Response from developer

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. The timetable shows the “from” prices on a half-fare basis. Personalised offers, considering existing travelcards, are shown on the "Ticket options" screen. Please check in your settings if the location access "Always" and "Exact location" is enabled. Kind regards

Loved this app!!

Used this app extensively throughout a 7-day travel through Switzerland. Extremely useful. Very thoughtfully designed — incorporated discounts such as half fare card, Swiss travel pass, super saver. Very informative in terms of showing which sections to go to for 1st vs 2nd class — this is extremely useful as some of the trains were very long (although the platforms also have equally good displays). However I had to go to the SBB website to book a ticket for a travel from Zurich to Germany. It would be good to have this capability in the app!

If you would like to benefit from this further development now, you can download SBB Preview from the App Store and log in with the same login as in SBB Mobile. Since version 12.30.0 of SBB Preview, international tickets can be purchased via the app. You can find more information about SBB Preview at https://www.sbb.ch/en/travel-information/apps/sbb-preview.html. I wish you continued great journeys with our app. Kind regards.

Not user friendly

The app has continuously been giving me error messages and asks you to login every time I’m in a new page. The website does not have answers either, you are unable to purchase a half fare card on the SBB app, when attempting to purchase it via online website, I am unable to buy it with an account, the websites forced me to buy it as a guest which I can’t add to SBB app.
