Best Support Reliable Product
I always get fast replies to my questions. With recent updates all features work smoothly. I find this app very reliable with my M1 and better than ELK RM for windows mobile. Get your alarm upgraded to a ELK M1, then get a iPhone and eKeypad. Wade, Jason, Steve, and you will all be happy. HaHa : )
The Perfect Application
What an awsome application. I am in complete control of my home security system. Had a small glitch regarding connection, but within an hour of my emailing Jayson he had an answer back to me. Great application and customer service second to none. It being this good to begin with, I cannot imagine what the future developements will be like.

Great App, Great Support
This app is exactly what I was looking for. I needed to be able to access my M1gold while I was away and this does it great. I had a bit of a problem using a dns name for the network address, but working with Jason Callaway (the developer) who responded quickly, we were able to get it working. The problem was the cellular speed of loading up the cache. Once the cached items were in the phone the app loads quickly and works great. I am looking forward to being able to control the audio that is hooked up to my M1 thru this mobal app.

If you have an Elk panel you should buy this!!!
Anyone who has an iPhone and the Elk M1 panel really should have this app. The price is very reasonable considering what this app can do. Support has been great. It's nice to see this level of quality in the app store.
Great App. Well Worth the Price!
I am tired of people complaining about the high price of applications. This application is well worth the price. It performs as claimed and is stable. If you want to pay .99 for an app, expect it to crash, have problems, or never get updated.
If you want a stable app that is WELL supported and contantly improved, guess what folks ... You have to pay for all of that hard work!
Nonetheless, I love this app. If you have an ELK system and desire control from your iPhone, this is what you want!

This app is the best M1 controller app out there
Anyone with an M1 knows that the built in Java based GUI thing is horribly outdated looking and bloated, and it won't run on a mobile phone at all. I just bought an M1, and to be honest, I was considering returning it and getting an HAI system because there are more remote control options for the HAI system.
But, this app made me decide to keep the M1. It's very well designed, easy to customize the Favorites screen so you can essentially have a dashboard of the most used or most critical items, and has access to control anything the M1 can control. Status updates and commands between my iphone and the M1 are instantaneous on the local network. (I haven't tried it over EDGE yet)
$45 may seem like a lot of money for an iPhone/iPod app, but if you compare it to a wired arming station, it's actually much cheaper, has WAY more functionality, and it's so portable that you can have access to your controls anywhere in the world. Well worth it.
Note that there is also a Pro version of this app which supports IP surveillance cameras. At some point I'll probably pick up a couple of iPod touches and just dock them in the areas of the house that people spend the most time in.

Incredible app, it does everything!
If you have an M1 then this is THE iPhone app to have. The responsiveness to sensor changes in the app are almost immediate. Works great with dynamic IP address using DynDns, etc. Very fast email support.
Yes, It's Pricey But Well Worth It
The eKeyPad Plus is the definitive iPhone app for anyone seekinng to extend remote control services over their ELK alarm system. I use this app to remotely monitor our ELK M1 alarm system, control and verify home automation routines (such as lighting scene schedules), etc. The application brings all of the power of the $1,000+ ELK touch screen units or ELK RM software directly to your iPhone. I use this app on both my home network and remotely via the iPhone's VPN client with no issues. One minor support question I had via e-mail with the app was answered within minutes by Jayson.

Great App to control your M1
I have wanted an easy way to control my M1 via cell phone for years, eKeypad Plus has met my expectations. One of the best things about this app is the developer's involvement in the HA community and commitment to make this a first class app. eKeypad plus continues to be updated and improved, bugs are addressed and not just dismissed. I would like to see the sync with the panel a little faster, but that is likely a technical limitation. At first, I thought $45 was a lot to spend on an app, but when I think about the relatively few number of apps that will be sold and see the level of support that is being given, I think it's a real value.

Super Product and Super Support - a must have!!!!!
I have been working at a home automation system that intergates Insteon power line light controlers and a Elk M1 Gold control. This has been a lengthly process and one of the biggest challenges is creating test devices to work through system reliabilty. eK Plus made short order of that concern as it has complete control of all devices which are incorporated into the Elk system. Anyone taking on the same challenge will understand fully where I am coming from.
- All of the features of this application work exactly as promised.
- Very easy to get up and running - would have been easier had I spent some extra time reading the instructions. I emailed for support and had a response very quickly. Within minutes I had this application running and couldn't take my hands off it.
- This product will be a very important part of my Home Automation project.
Very sweet.....F A N T A S T I C ! ! ! Product..... Certainly a must have for anyone wanting to communicate with an Elk Control.
Can't wait to see what Jayson comes up with for upgrades...what ever it is count me in Jayson.
