Great Control
I have been using eKeypad since its release and now with this latest version 1.2 it connects heaps faster. Whether it be via local LAN or via 3G network the connection to the M1 and control is brilliant. Simple to configure, powerful in what it can do but at the same time and simple to use. (My wife can even use it.!!) I highly recommend this app. Well Done Jayson

Awesome app, well worth the price!
All of my alarm system info on my iPhone, how cool is that. Nice effort cramming a lot of info into small space, e.g. how temperatures from probes and keypads are all collected in one place, or how there are various options on how to show Tasks on your Favorites page. To top if off, Jayson is very responsive to comments and suggestions, bravo. Can't wait for multiple panel and IP camera support!

This is a powerful ELK M1 application
The current 1.2.0 version is an excellent M1 addon to my control of my home automation system. The improvements made in the release are great, the speed of updates now given the handshaking back to the M1 panel are very slick! The seemless operation is impressive.
The nice thing is the programmer Jayson has listened to us end users and has implimented most if not all of the suggestions made on the M1 forum....indeed added some that were not suggested too. More improvements are slated soon and can't wait to see the Russound audio control .....these additions which are planned are part of the eKeypad Plus are included the initial price, so when all addons proposed are implimented the power of the application will be awesome.
In this release there is even a dedicated configuration for the Australian M1 via Ness ......wow! Both ELK M1 and Ness M1
I believe the current release 1.2.0 is very good value at the price with yet more to come......keep up the good work Jayson

Great AP. Works perfectly
The iPhone and touch are great automation interfaces and this AP take full advantage them.
If you have an ELK Get this.
This is by far the most usefull app I own, pays for it self the first time you forget to arm your system or have to disarm for an unexpected guest while you are away.
Too many features to discuss here, just buy it.
Release 1.2
The latest 1.2 release continues to enhance the functionality and performance of the app. I agree with Jeremy in having the ability to customize the layout. It would be nice to have a config mode where you could select which outputs, lights, etc you would like to use with eKeypad instead of doing it in ElkRP which impacts all methods of controlling the Elk.
Overall this app is a great addition to the Elk and the developer continues to improve the app on a regular basis.

Impressive
This is pricy for an iphone app, but if you embrace an Elk M1 like we do, this is a very handy app to be able to use. Using a traditional mobile browser doesnt work becuase the java is non existent or limited. Though I havent tried everything, thus far what I did try is working well. Its a great first run and I am looking forward to future revisions.

This works surprisingly well and without difficulties for such a potentially complex scenario. I found this easy to set up, and it "just works" both inside and outside the home. Polished... Professional... Nearly perfect.
A great app that rounds out the eKeypad functionality, but pricey until all features are supported
eKeypad Plus allows you to connect to your ELK M1 Gold via the Ethernet expander. It supports secured and non secured mode, and when connected enables you to control tasks, lights etc.
This essentially gives you full HA capabilities with your iPhone or iPod Touch in conjunction with the Elk security system. Very well done.
Once 1.1 is out and provides temperature sensor readings along with a few other small details this will round out a lot. "Fully configurable interface. Put items where you want them." is a little overstated.
For the price tag I would like to see the following in the next release:
Customization of the screens, not just a favorites in the order the app determines.
Lockable screens once all the customizations have been done.
Temperature sensor control
Fully configurable interface taken a little further so I can create my own layouts.
