Not sure why everyone thinks it’s so good
First off, the charts are trash, basically unusable and not user friendly in the least. The info shown on securities held is good and you can customize it, layout is a bit too much, too much having to move the screen around and press drop downs (that are super small touch areas), etc. I’m a moderate day trader and I find the app hard to work with. It’s bad enough that I use Webull for everything (watch lists, charts, news, etc.) and then come place the trade on ToS. There are times where I have to hard close the app and reopen it because the information showing is inaccurate (like if you wait hours before looking at the app again, or overnight), almost cost me a bit of money. It has a lot of potential though. Could be great if they let the users run the show rather than the programmers. But I expect Schwab will only make it worse, like the time we all got forced over to Schwab and then got locked out of our accounts for two days? Wasn’t that fun you guys?Show lessFiremanMedic
App cannot connect to server
I was able to use this app (via Guest Pass) for a few hours yesterday after installing it for the first time. This morning, I am met with error messages saying it cannot establish a connection to the server, and after uninstalling and reinstalling, it now simply tells me I have “successfully logged out” every time I log in (by either passcode or password). Considering this is a 30 day limited trial, I wonder if this time that Schwab is unable to connect to the server will be prorated and credited back to me? I suspect not.
Not a good look considering trading is fairly dependent on server connection speed and availability. Day two and I already need to contact customer service for technical support. I enjoyed the platform yesterday, but I am reconsidering whether Schwab is capable of hosting a trading platform that won’t prove to be financially problematic over time due to issues like this with no clear workaround. I am grateful, however, that the app allows paper trading, so prospective customers get a glimpse of the quality of service before funding an account.Show lesslilaggo
Schwab are reckless crooks
Been trading on TDameritrade for decades (when it was still called Ameritrade). I am a scalping DT and i place 10s of thousands of trades long and short each year. My account has now been at Schwab for a few months and I could still use the Think or Swim app. Was trading DJT mostly on long scalps and a few times short last week. I have no bias when scalping and I enter and exit positions sometimes in a few seconds and occasionally a minute or more. I have traded large caps and small startups forever. However, when I borrowed the shares for the DJT I was charged a 500% fee. I only noticed when my account balance was well over $2,000 lower. I called and they said it was my problem and that I was warned about such things in the fine print and that they would not do anything to offset my loss. 500%??? Why stop there? Why not 50,000% fees? There were no pop up warnings about the 500% fees. Why would a brokerage care so little about their clients hard earned capital that they would allow this to happen. I do not trust this company at ALL. If they can charge 500% fees how safe can your money be? What other financially ravaging pitfalls await their trusting clients. I was impatient to carry out necessary research but I really wanted to jump on the crypto trading and investment buzz. Unfortunately for me, I invested 75,700 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 214,575 USD within a couple of weeks. But I didn't realize I was dealing with a scam company, until I tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because I could not afford to let it go. So I tried all possible means to make sure I recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum were a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptography funds with the help of So I filed a report on MarianDiana41 (at) Gmail and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds withing 2 weeks I feel indebted to him. Great app but no longer accessible.
This is no longer available . They are rolling out new platforms so this is no longer available. If it is not broke , don’t fix it. This is the only app that I used for trading . Now that it is no longer available I will be moving to another investment institution lDamoun1
