  • Horrible after recent update

WAS a good app. Recent update now has ads appear (that you have to X out of and pray don't take you to the App Store) roughly every 30 seconds. Sometimes two at a time. Oh, and every time you go to a new page/screen.

It is now easier and less frustrating to just visit the Gay Cities website via safari. They completely ruined this app and I will no longer be using it. Don't waste your time.
  • Great but could use improvements

I have to say I quite enjoy this app. My spouse and I travel a ton together and are always looking for a good bar or restaurant. That being said it would be really great to be able to add cities to a state. A lot of our favorite cities aren't even available in the (pick a city) category. You might have better reviews if its a little more user friendly.
  • trustworthy and simple

going to Atlanta for the first time for a family gathering, I took off early from Chicago so I could have a little me time before the weekend's activities.
this app found me friendly hotels, reliable neighborhoods, even a good barber nearby my hotel.
  • Just delete as reinstall, people!!!

Decent app, deleting and reinstalling fixes the crashing which is true for most apps. Try that before flaming the developers. Turning off wifi seems to help this one run better too. Mine gets stuck at the Finding Your Location screen at startup if I have wifi on.
  • It is great

I have been using this app for over year and travel all over. I have used to find hotels to night spots. When I take time to daydream about my next excursion I pull out my iPad and travel away to my next designation. I would recommend this app without question.
  • Where are ANY updates/additions?

App may be good for displaying places dping business when the app was written, but it's archaic wjen it comes to any place opened after that. I've written in seberal times for a few places and still they don't show up.

St. Louis, MO. There's a 6-7-month old coffee house (Shameless Grounds) that serves amazing food and hosts regular events link kinky bingo, tenatious trivia, pjs and a picture show and discussion groups like queer history class. Still not on. Also a new bar (Meyers Grove) been open for 6 or so months that's really hot and has become THE place to actually mingle instead of just cruise - also not on here.

Come on people - your asleep at the wheel - update already would ya!?
  • Very Handy

I have used this app in a number of cities accross the country and found all sorts of kewl places to go using it as well as discovering some of my major hangout areas close to home that I didnt even know about before I got this app.
  • Great, Helpful App!!

This app makes finding your way around any city great...you can find all the local gay-friendly business' fast and easy AND at a couple clicks on your iPhone/iTouch/pad. Plus read reviews before you try something new. Useful App!! Download it NOW!
  • Sassy little guide

Good for some great on-the-go advice when travelling to major metropolitan areas. I just wish the app would let you 'check in' using your current location so that places that aren't in this guide could be added. But still, the app is easy to use, accurate, and ideal for someone travelling via the airlines from major city to major city. For all those small towns in between, you'll still need to rely on word of mouth or other gay guides.
  • So far so good!

Has good info for places you are visiting and not familiar of the area but in so. Cal, where i love, it's missing some places (san bernardino, orange county area) :( hope you can add them or if there was a stop where you can add a club, spa, resturant that can be up for approval and be on the maps.
