  • Great info and easy to use - needs mote details and cities

Very easy to use app, minimum ads, and lots of cities. But it needs more international cities and could use some more user reviews. Many of the descriptions sound like they were submitted by proprietors and we k ow how biased those can be.

Overall though, I think they are. Trying hard to build a community and keep te listings themselves up to date. I would recommend this app.
  • Gay Cities keeps getting better & better

Gay Cities is THE best gay travel app available. And they are members of IGLTA, the world's official authority and resource for gay tourism. This accreditation provides all gay travelers with current, reliable destination information. Which includes: where to stay, where to eat, drink and have fun, and who is also in that area.
  • I travel...

This app is very helpful if you travel alot and need to find things to do when you're in an unfamiliar city. I'd really like to see this app grow even more than it already has. This app over the time I've had it has had many great updates and enhancements. It's also over time covering more and more cities. I'd really like to see it cover more, if not all cities that have attractions or places for people to go. The reviews and pictures are helpful. I certainly reccomend this app to anyone that travels or wishes to check out the culture elsewhere.
  • Fabulous app!

I just moved to Washington from Minneaota to be with my fiancé, Andrea. So I didn't know th area at all, I wa looking for some way to find gay clubs and gay friendly restaurants. And to my surprise I have finally found it! Thank you so much to the makers of Gaycities! Ur amazing!
  • Great adaptation of the GayCities online guides

Mixing the GPS of the iPhone with the user reviews of the website is brilliant. The app is very intuitive and looks great. Really nice to feel like you will never be a stranger in a strange city with this app on your phone.
  • The jury is out

I loved the app when I first added it. However, with recent updates, I'm loosing my enthusiasm. I travel to London a lot and a lot of the venues have been removed. I'm also not to crazy about the Check in request when you log on. What's the point if you aren't in that location. Still, if you know nothing about a city, it's a great way to get started.
  • This app is amazing!

So nice to be able to find place that I want to visit no matter where i am. I wasn't crazy about v1, but kept it on my phone with hope of improvements. I am SOOO GLAD I did!!! Not only can I find a place to eat that is gay friendly, but I can also see where people have visited most now. The checkins are a really nice addition. and LOVE love love the new look! well done. oh, and people need to stop complaining so quickly.... The app crashed a few times after release, but they FIXED it in like a DAY! Now I haven't had ANY issues at ALL!! I wish more companies had customer service like this. Keep up the good work!! (and to the developers... can you put messaging on your todo list?)
  • New version works great!

App had big problems, but new version seems to have fixed them all & added so many new features that it's completely different. I love it now & hope it gets enough participation to make it a more valuable tool for community feedback. Also has potential for users to find friends & hook-ups.
  • The new version is Fantastic

I loved the old version, this one is even better! You can still do general browsing, the button has just been moved, under browse, in the top left corner is "Pick City" the application finds your location by default, or you can use this and look elsewhere, very helpful when planning a trip! 100% love this app!
  • Too limited. Incomplete.

This app is great if you travel to a big city, but it is extremely incomplete. I recently went to Richmond, VA, and there were no listings for anything. I know there are at least 6 gay bars and numerous other gay hotspots there. I really wish this app would allow user edits or a way to publish listings so it could really be a tool to find info when traveling. I think the app has potential, but it is not yet the best source for gay information.
