  • Awesome

While I absolutely love this app I have some not exactly complaints but more so recommendation for an update if possible. My 16 month old daughter LOVES this app but the information button is very easily pushed in the bottom right corner of the screen and I'm constantly having to switch the language back to English and turn the audible description back on. The second thing is if it were possible to somehow lock the screen so the home button didn't work with only one press. She is quite smart and gets out of the app and moves onto other things... Deleting pictures or other apps. Lol Otherwise I am so happy someone told me about this app because there were just some animal sounds that weren't in my repertoire of abilities.
  • 19 month loves it!

My 19 month has been playing this for a few months now. She can now turn on my phone, flip through the apps, and go straight to hers. She has learned so many words and sounds just from this app. If sound doesn't work, turn your sound on :)
  • Great App!

This app is similar to SoundTouch, but with cartoons instead of photos. There are three pages (domestic animals, wild animals, and vehicles) with 12 items per page. A touch on the item brings up a cartoon-type drawing of the animal or vehicle. The name is pronounced and accompanied by a sound. There are five languages offered.
  • Overall good, but a few quirks

Overall, our toddler enjoys this app and is definitely learning from it. However, it'd be great if the creators would correct the pronunciation of "ambulance" (currently pronounced "amblance", i.e. they don't pronounce the "u"). Also, I'm not sure if it's the settings on my Ipad, but the icons are sometimes either too sensitive to the touch or not sensitive and don't respond when my toddler taps it. Often if my toddler's hand slightly grazes over a button on her way to tap another, it opens the wrong one. Or she'll be tapping the right icon and it doesn't respond.
  • My son loves this

I've had this app from the time my son was 14 months and now he's almost two. He has always absolutely loved it. It's been great for practicing his fine motor skills to learn how to tap on each square. Now I can ask him to find an animal for me and he finds it. Great, simple app!
  • Troubleshooting fixed no sound problem

This app wasn't making noise when I first installed it, even though my volume was on and some of my other apps were making sounds. I clicked the app support button in the store and went to the developer's blog. He had a great troubleshooting guide there that fixed me right up. (it was my iPad mute switch, which I didn't even know I had set) now my daughter is in love with the app, just as so many others are!
  • Fantastic App

This app is excellent. There are no hidden ploys to get you to buy anything and the items featured are great. My 20-month old son has loved this for many months. I do wish in their next update they would swap out the audio where the voice says "amb-lance" instead of "ambulance". I can't imagine how that got through the review process. It makes my skin crawl. But even with that glaring error, this app is 10x better than many of the paid apps I've bought.
  • Must have!

We've had this app on all of our devices for a few months and our now 17 month old still loves it! She has learned the sounds and you can ask her what sound an _____ makes and she'll tell you even with no app around. All of our friends with kids love it as well, even older kids love it. I can't wait to see more apps by this developer. I only wish that the settings button was harder to access because she gets frustrated when it gets stuck there. I've seen some apps where you have to hold other buttons which would be great.
  • I hear ewe - animal sounds for toddlers

My grandson (19 months) loves this program. But I also discovered older kids do too. I showed it to a 3 - year - old during a church nursery, and was soon surrounded by others (up to 5 years old) who figured out an elaborate sharing system and played for an hour together. The next week, the first thing the 3-year-old said to me was, "Can I play with the sounds program?". Now that's a recommendation!!
  • Best app for little ones

My 11 month old LOVES this app! He knows how to work it and it keeps him entertained when I need to occupy him for a few mins. Great for when you're sitting in the dr's waiting room ; ) my only complaint is I wish there was an option to hide the "I" icon that takes u to the menu. It's right where he holds the phone so he is always pushing it. Of it weren't for that, I would've given this 5 stars. Please figure out how to hide that like a lot of the other child apps have already done.
