Great app! Works well with the 3GS compass.
Mercury, the Winged Messenger
Does a great job of displaying data on the planets but I’ve gone with Distant Suns Lite which is also free and does the whole sky.
Positive
This app is very good for the amature astronomer interested in identifying planets in the night sky. It is also useful for prediction when and where certian planets will be at certian times of the day or night. The only down side to this app that I see at the present time is that the locations of Uranus and Neptune should be included in this app as there those of us with telescopse that would like to see if they are able to see these outer two planets.
