Great Resource
An excellent way to have geographic, political, economic, historical, and many other facts about all the countries of the world, many I'm sure you don't even know exist. This app is fun to just skim, but it will also answer those nagging question that come up from time to time that you don't know the answer to, and may not be sure where to turn. This app is amazing!!!!!! Up to date info on every country in the world as well as sections on various water bodies, territories, and land disputes. One of the most interesting and informative apps in the store. And right now it's on for a dollar. Dozens of hours of Reading and research for 99 cents!!!!!!!Show less519crad12

Informative... Educational...
BUT not so user-friendly. It would be nice to be able to
1) browse through categories/continents list
2) zoom and browse a world/continent map.
3) take a factoid quizDevilhsc
Good app
It's great and the knowledge is well presented. Just sort out the keyboard when searching through the countries so it slides back an you can scroll with a bigger screen, as this can be annoying. But also there should definitely be separate pages for England, Scotland, Wales, and northern ireland as they are not just the united kingdom, each of these countries have heaps of history separately and are so unique from eachother. Also, an interesting addition would be a 'history' tab and a mention in the introduction how the country is stereotypically seen by other countries, personality, dress, food, etc. to get a rough idea of what the people are like.

What a wonderful world
Very nice app. It's fast and doesn't rely on Internet. Doesn't freeze. Best of all it has loads of information about countries when needing a quick reference. Cheers to factbookRaphthematador

Great app
The fact that no Internet connection makes it perfect for just extending your knowledge or finding information anywhere anytime. Very well put together with great depth. My only problem is that after searching you can't remove the keyboard meaning less space to view the list, very small problem though.Show lessGawge
Just okay
By and large, this is an interesting app. However, it suffers from a couple of relatively minor usability issues. When you search, the iPhone keyboard is stuck on the screen with no way to get rid of it, which limits the ability to just browse through the list and select the country. You also can't zoom in our out on the maps. The scale is so tight that you can't really see a lot of what lies immidiately outside the borders of the country you are viewing.
