Spending time
Well worth spending the time to learn to read music. This application has helped me learn to sight read music and enjoy playing the Piano now that I can read music. Before I was fumbling trying to read music and fun in the keys. Highly recommended.

Great app for learning sight-reading
Fantastic app for learning and practicing sight reading. Really like the settings options as it can be set for both learning and improving speed. The history table is great too as it encourages improvement. I use the app on both iPhone and iPad. Thank you!

My favorite note training app!
I am an adult taking piano lessons. I’ve been using NoteBrainer for about a year now, and am enjoying the new update, there are more options and the layout looks cleaner.
In addition to the sight reading training that the app is designed for, I recently started using the app for ear training. I can set it up so it will play a note, then I have to figure out what note it is. This is really helping me with pitch recognition on the piano.
While I think this app would be great for children, I am happy that it is not geared solely to children. It’s very easy to use, but doesn’t feature the juvenile graphics that most other note training apps use. I am very happy with NoteBrainer!

Great when it works
I used to have this app a couple of years ago and it was amazing. Just downloaded it again to brush up, and it's still good but totally freezes if I get a note wrong, and I have to restart the app. So can't keep score. Very annoying.

Hi, I realise this is an old review but if you are still interested in learning your notes I have recently released a completely new version built for iOS 10. I would love it if you could try it out again. -James
Great app but has major bug
If this app worked well I'd give it five stars, but it has one major bug on my iPhone 6 / iOS 8.3 - as soon as I get a note wrong, the app locks up completely, forcing me to restart the app. I still get lots of mileage despite this which is why I'm giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Exactly What I Was Looking For!!
This is extremely helpful. Though it is simple and crashes a lot, my sight reading for bass clef has improved so so so much!! All these other music apps are very complicated and have in app purchases and this one is very get-to-the-point. I love it, thank you!!!!!
