  • Stopped working on iOS 18

Like another reviewer says, since iOS 18 the app doesn’t work. Crashes when you set a sleep or wake timer. I’ve reported three times by email since the first developer beta and never a reply.

Update: now thankfully fixed, so I’ve increased the rating.
  • Was Great till it broke

They changed to a subscription service. I've lost my entire library. No reply from support. I was a supporter for years.
  • Incredible App / Poor Support

Having lost access to my soundscapes purchases after I bought a new iPad, since May 16th, I’ve been trying unsuccessfully to have my app purchases restored.

Getting through to anyone in customer support is next to impossible.

Initially, I eventually heard back from a woman named Julia who acknowledged the problem I was having was an issue known to Naturespace. Her solution was to send me an email with a link that she said would restore my purchases.

Unfortunately, the link was nowhere to be found. I notified Julia about this and she sent a second email with a link that again, did not exist.

When I made Julia aware of this, I was told that the link had a problem working with Gmail accounts and that I should send my request for a link that would work from another email account.

I have done this on numerous occasions to no avail. I’ve heard nothing in response. In frustration, I even sent a message to support via the Naturespace Facebook page. Again no one from customer support contacted me to help.

While Naturespace arguably features the best recordings available, the company’s customer service department has proven to be a massive disappointment.

It is completely unacceptable that, four months after my initial inquiry, I’m still waiting to have my purchases restored.

  • Doesn’t work properly with iOS 18

I’ve had this app for several years, and it’s always worked great. But after updating my iPhone and iPad to iOS 18 this week, the Sleep Timer function no longer works on either device. When I click the Start option on the Sleep Timer screen, the app disappears from the screen and nothing else happens. It’s still open in the background, as touching and dragging on the display brings it back into view, as you would with any app that is in the background. But it does not play its track nor start the timer running, and any attempt to start it just sends the app to the background again. I’ve tried changing the timer setup and track selection, even deleted and reinstalled the app, but the problem persists. The track I have it set to play is a free one, so no purchase issues involved, and the same track plays fine when simply selected from the main screen. So it is the Sleep Timer function that is broken. And since I have used this every night for several years, I can say with certainty that the update to iOS 18 is when the problem showed up.

  • 14 Years and Counting…!!!

I’ve used this App since 2010 when I got my first iPhone 4s. It was be of the very first Apps I’ve ever downloaded. And, I’ve been using it DAILY since. My Fav is White Water Fall. Best App for White Noise and the 3D Effect works wonders. The Biggest Bonus with Nature Space is the ability to mix the audio with your other apps. So, you can have background noises on while listening to an audiobook. Makes any listening experience better with Crackling Camp Fires or Jungle Ambience…

I Will Always Use this App…

    Get It!!!

  • Love it

This app has been a staple for my kids to sleep since they were born - literally!
  • This app is No Joke

I am not rich but small money is no concern to me. For years, I have tried / purchased several audio sort of apps. Some has been dis listed from store. Some are no longer installable due to outdated. Some I play a few days and I felt meh….uninstalled. Wasted some time and money….still been a fun journey though. It is impossible for me to travel back in time to inform myself. What I can do now is to introduce this app to my kids. I want them to have the best I can provide.

  • Can’t access what was already paid for because they want to force a subscription model.

Used to love this app and used it daily. I bought almost every track but since they switched to a monthly subscription I lost access to everything. Literally everything. All of the tracks I purchased I can no longer use and I can’t restore them. I will not reward a company for greed and taking back what was already sold by subscribing to their revised “service”.

  • Incredible Sounds, Disappointing Customer Service

Update - It has been over a week since I posted this review and still have not heard from anyone with the company. I still have not received a link to fix my previous purchases. I’ve sent another email on Friday and no response. I will keep updating.

I have purchased the entire collection of Naturespace, and the sounds are incredible. Each track offers a unique and immersive experience that truly stands out. We are talking over 150 tracks. Naturespace has been around for a long time, but I suspect other jobs by the creators and covid stopped them from being able to produce more tracks in recent years. So when I saw new tracks I was excited. The sound, the look of the app, and the overall immersive experience makes this app awesome. However, I am giving this app 2 stars due to the poor customer service. When I purchased a new iPad, only about two-thirds of my tracks were restored. I contacted support, and they assured me that I would receive a link to finish downloading my previously purchased tracks, but that never happened. I have reached out to Naturespace through Facebook and sent two emails, yet I have received no additional responses. While the quality of the sounds is top-notch, the lack of support and resolution for restoring my purchased tracks is unacceptable. For an app of this caliber, I expected much better customer service.

  • Great sounds. Terrible UX

All these years and you still intentionally won’t let me play any sounds on my local speakers

Finding things I’ve played recently is also impossible with the horrible files and folder metaphor.

    Basics, guys
