Maps 2 go is awesome, you can download complete countries and use them offline. The older version was a bit more user friendly but you get the hang of it againlittle engo
Great tool to have and use
Not without a few bugs and design flaws, however, as an aid or tool while you are sightseeing, it is very helpful and a constant reference app; whether that be the map, metro, information regarding sights, pictures to guide to some location, etc. Download the offline maps and spend some time adding the sights you want see and you can't go wrong with this app.Show lessFa147
Ulmon is AWESOME and necessary when traveling
This app is the reason I was able to successfully navigate Rome. We are from the states and didn't purchase an international data/cell phone plan which left us to wifi only. I downloaded this map prior to arrival and everything worked perfectly, even while we were out without wifi. I am impressed at the lists you are able to create and save, the accuracy of the GPS, and the map in general including metro maps. Thank you:)Show lessKfoun10
Must have for any traveller
This app is absolutely amazing and saved me getting lost in Rome countless times. I have been travelling to other cities and not having internet on your phone is a killer and your constantly looking to find wifi to find out where you are. But this map is so detailed and tracks where you are offline and even in which direction your walking. It's amazing and I hope they have this app for every other city I plan to travel as being able to plan where your going in advance and then walk around the city saves you so much time and money.

Essential app to enjoy a visit
I have found this to be my most useful app when traveling or moving to a new city. We are wanderers, so mark what is interesting and then checking off things as we see them helps us get to more sites in a smaller amount of time. After the trip, it is a reminder of what we did. Would be lost without it
This was one of the best and most useful apps I have ever used.
I did not want to carry one of those huge bulky maps in Rome so decided to use the offline map for my trip. This thing was my bible, it shows direction of traffic so you know if your going the right way, has great suggestions for places to see and eat, and has a map of the metro. The offline function still is able to triangulate your location and direction you are facing and walking so it is impossible to get lost with this app. Best part about it is if you set a marker on the map, even without gps you can easily see how you are walking to the set marker. I can only imagine that this app would be even more amazing if I decided to use it online.

A life saver
Usually don't rate apps but after a trip to Europe using this offline maps, I can asure you, this app will make your trip easier and you won't miss any important spot in the city. I used London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Rome, Florence, Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon! In Budapest I felt lost because they don't have a map for this city but Google also doesn't have a map for Budapest offline.
I'll put 6 stars but I can't so 5 it's the closest. One more thing, all this is for FREE! And this is not all, also you can download the information about the historic places in the city and then you can get the info offline.
