I am in an area where Kijiji is popular.
However the app and/or the website are frequently down.
In addition the messaging feature is just about useless. I get notifications on my phone that I’ve a message but when I go to my message list there is nothing. Often I get the error: “our content isn’t loading at the moment”Show lessMre575
no matter the update the app never works
Every 2 days the app won’t let me search or reply and send messages. Even when the next “bug fix” update comes out. This app never works and I go use facebook marketplace instead. Fix your app or they’re gonna run you outta townRau-Cain

Glitchiest app I’ve ever used
I’m shocked that the reviews for this app are so high. I’ve been using it for years, and finally got so fed up that I needed to say something. The “chat” option in the app takes anywhere from 2 to 5 mins to load any new messages that I’ve been alerted to. Sometimes I’ll send a message and it won’t appear in the dialogue area, which makes it seem like I didn’t send it (but the person will reply to it). Sometimes the app tells me my message can’t be sent, so I send it again, and then there’s two of the same message in the box. I have good/reliable data and wifi so this isn’t an internet connection issue, also all of my other apps will be working without issue and then I go to use the Kijiji app and it’s like I’m on dial up. Also once I deleted a post (bc I had just sold the item) and received confirmation that it was deleted. Later that evening I got a message from someone asking if it was still available. I went to check my posts, and lo and behold, somehow, the post was up again? Glitchy. You guys are the biggest name in online classifieds, make a better app.Show lessprincess panini
Do not update
Fix your app. Updated few months ago now my recent searches add a new one every time I change a filter or location. The filters are broken. It’ll show 22 results yet nothing shows up refresh page scroll down I’ll see 1 or 2 of the results and that’s it. Very disappointed every time I see an update available I do it hoping for it to get better o only gets worse.Show lesskyle12235673
Inconsistent
It’s an okay app. Works when it wants, doesn’t show all ads like desktop. Says “no search results found” even though at the bottom it says “38 results found”.finallyanavaiablename
No results found
The latest update has broken the search function on this app for cars. When searching or using a saved search it says “ah, no results found” but has the little boxe below saying there are 54 results found, it doesn’t display them though. This is really annoying. I am leaving this review in hope the developer fixes this bug. I have removed and reinstalled to it avail. I cannot see a way to contact the developer so hopefully this 1 star review gets them to fix this!Show lessdavid 81/911
Garbage
I’ve bought and sold a LOT of stuff on Kijiji over the years, but the app is absolute garbage — a few years ago Kijiji.ca website became 90% paid ads and 10% people actually selling stuff - the website is now only usable with an adblocker. The app is unusable — too many paid ads, and I am constantly bombarded with ads from Alberta or the maritimes (I’m in frikkin Ottawa). The app is completely useless - the only reason it’s on my phone is because the chat function most of the time works. Get it together!!!!!Show lessSrow
Review system is a joke
Kijiji of all apps should know that you can’t rely on the good faith of people that use kijiji. Reviews can be left that say anything and there’s no opportunity to respond or change a review once posted.
The UI could also use some work, having to google how to do something on the app that is easier to do on a web browser is disappointing.Show lessTimbob Jr.
