HORRIBLY UNBLANCED GAMEPLAY
This game is too unbalanced. You start out with a measly 150 gold while your opponent has unlimited cash. The higher difficulties are unplayable not just because the computer has unlimited cash but because his units last longer and deal more damage. At level 9 I got out one Mammut Rider and two Stone Throwers worth 150 gold and they all died against one Club Caveman worth 15 gold. The Special Weapon is highly unnacurate and at higher difficulties it deals very little damage to be of any real use. This game is not fun, rather it is an excercise in frustration.Show lessKatriel
Here's how to cheat,
I asked the creator, and he said:
sure, version 2.0 have cheat mode.
You need enter in "Delete Defense Weapon" menu, after touch your both fingers to center of game screen ( game field not menu area ) and slide you fingers to sides ( like you increase Photo in Photoalbum app in iPhone) and you get cheat mode.

This previous update made me want to open up my wars app and play it cuz it sounded like they made a lot of great changes to the original...but future updates there need to be more units! And also more ages...that would be a great addition!! Even if they're baby steps...I feel the game progresses too quickly cuz it jumps from cavemen to knights...that's a huge gap!!! Remember...baby steps! I also think the background should change with each era...it was boring to have the same background...and honestly the freaking background looked like the African plains...please for gods sake change it up...but so far great job on this previous update I'm proud of all the people working on this game I've already told all my friends with iPhones and iPod touches to buy this app...and a majority of them did and they love it so far...thanks a lot guys but please work hard cuz I cannot wait for the

One word: Awesome!
I am a very picky with my iTunes money so I took a risk and trusted everyone elses review of this game and just like everyone else, I am very impressed with this game! It is so fun and addicting! It's like an accelerated version of tower defense games. I just got the game and I have already beaten easy and medium difficulty levels. Great game for 99 cents, get it now before the price goes up! Suggestions: it would be cool to have an online scores and also an endless mode were u keep going till u die would be awesome.Show lessandreandreandre
Great game
I loved age of war and a mobile version is sweet. Very addicting. Few suggestions. Special needs to hit everyone. Harder difficulties need to be fair, just with the computer being smarter. More ages. More guys per age. Turrets cost less. Would be five stars but mine crashed and now when ever I play it the buttons on the bottom are blank and the pictures that should be there over lap each other on the top near the left. Good game, but way too short
Good idea, but once u beat it, there's very little reason to play it again. For each age, there's only three troops, at least increase it to five. I rarely ever got any of the defensive weapons cause it all went to the troops and the weapons cost too much. Kinda slow, which isn't the worse thing, but the frame rate and speed in general is too slow. Honestly the only reason this isn't less of a rating is cause the game has a great idea backing it, but it can definally learn something from cartoon wars (mainly the progression of the battle meaning that it should be done in sections, one section for each age maybe; also there should be upgrades available).Show lessPonTsou
AWESOME
This game is very different and entertaining from the rest. The computer does cheat, so be warned. I just feel the computer cheats a little to advance. You can tell by the things it does, knowingly its humanly impossible. Also by you knowing that the computer does not have enough money to buy more advanced weapons. Or the computer does not have enough resources to advance, But some how it does. The computer, always finds itself ahead of the human player all the time. Maybe thats how the creator did it., and its unfair. But, other than that - The game is very entertaining.Show lessDanica Fan
So much fun
Unfortunately, this app only deserves three stars. There is NO multiplayer, and it's the same gameplay every time. What really knocks it back, though, is that there is one difficulty. Easy. There is an added medium and hard mode, but the computer player isn't any better. It's units just become more powerful with much stronger attacks. For instance, in hard mode, the opponet's pilgrim rifleman can take out one of my cannons. Also, the opponet doesn't use the same money system. It has unlimited cash and doesn't need to kill a single unit to age up. This computer player needs fixing, but other that that it's a great game.Show lessSharkfin Soup
Balance Flaw
The player can build towers on which to mount longer range weapons, but those weapons do not mount, and the towers, while expensive to build confer no additional benefit to the player without mounted weapons. This may be a bug or flaw, but it needs to be addressed, because it is very easy to lose when the computer opponent can mount tower weapons, but the player cannot. Otherwise this game, while simple, is fun, at least in terms of trying to anticipate and counter various opposing units. However, without the reciprocal ability to mount defensive weapons, the charm turns to frustration, and the fun is irrevocably lost. Nice graphics though.Show lessHraefn22
Great game
Usually I give a horrid review for copying another game that I've played before but this is an exception. Great game, sure the special weapon can use some tweaking, and the graphics may be bad but if you wanted it to be perfect, it wouldn't be for iPhone and it wouldn't be a dollar. Buy this game if you have an hour to kill. This is one of my only good reviews, so take my advice. The only bad thing about this, and it's on age of war also, it doesn't have very good replay value.
