  • On Cue????Where is the cue?

How can you say this is useful for those that need to start a song on a specific cue when there is no place to enter the "CUE"? A waste of money.
  • Not working with double tap

Wanted this app to work with the lock and double tap feature, it doesn't :(

Also it didn't go to next track when phone is locked

    Bit disappointing :(
  • Won't Work with Airturn

I purchased this app to work with my wireless bluetooth AirTurn on my Ipad. The AirTurn works with other apps such as Fore Score but not with this app. A total waste of money for me as a result. No support available from their website...NONE.
  • Great value for a helpful app.

I've been looking for an app like this. Other similar ones had way more bells and whistles and cost much more. This will be great for using in our high school shows for cueing music, sound effects, etc. Thanks for the improved recent updates!
  • A Great Update

This is the update I have been waiting for. I have used this app for the last 2 Christmas plays at our church. It is great for sound effects, because it pauses at the end of each song or effect.

The previous version would lose it's play list when minimized. That problem has been fixed. Your music keeps playing when minimized, and keeps the music list, even after closing and re-opening the app.

Create a play list in the iOS music player, and use it in Play On Cue.

Click the Music button to add, delete, and re-arrange the list of songs.

Click the curved arrow at the top (left side on iPhone, right side for iPad) to clear all songs, add another song, or change the volume.

Great job on the latest update!

  • This App does a specific thing.....

    It is obvious from reading the various reviews that people were sometimes confused about what the App actually does;
it allows you to play a series of tracks in sequence and have the tracks finish before restarting the next one manually. This
is great for someone like a performer who wants to control his backing tracks, however it is pretty useless for anyone else.
It does what is says it does REALLY well.

  • Great little cueing device

This is exactly what I was looking for as a live play in device! I can look through the tracks, choose one and it's ready to play right on cue. I can pre fade listen and re cue if necessary. All the fading and messing about is done on the external mixer as it should be. I press play and it plays the track. At the end of the track it stops, brilliant!

  • Great for gigs

This is a great app for playing backing tracks at solo gigs. When I had questions about some features, the customer service responded right away. Very impressed.
  • Horrible

Doesn't do anything but be a playlist that your iPhone or iPod can already? Complete rip off as well as you can't start songs in certain spots. Dumb!
    Apple...take off the site!
  • Needs work, but definitely the right idea

Great app for a performing musician with backing tracks. It is NOT just another setlist player, the PURPOSE of the app IS to STOP BETWEEN SONGS, which iTunes will NOT do. I examined dozens of apps to find this feature, and I believe it is the ONLY app in the store that does this. Someone complained about it, but it is the point of the app. Sorry, bud - nothing personal, but read the docs before you buy, they were quite clear...

This app will increase my tip income by letting me acknowlege my audience at the end of a tune, instead of having to look at the iPod and wait for the last sustaining notes to fade so I can stop the song, reset it to the beginning, and back out to the setlist before I can look up and say "Thank you...)

But I only gave it three stars because it still could use some help to reach its potential. Suggestions, and one real need:

Real need: On stage, a show may need the same set every night, but piano bar or single musicians don't always use a full-bore set list, we may just want to pick songs on the fly, or change to order, even after starting a playlist. Our most important goal is to have the song stop at the end, ready to let us pick the next song. Default the picker to the last selected playlist. Starting from the top every time is way too many clicks in the heat of a live performance. I have a lot of set lists I work from, depending on the venue, crowd and requirements - dinner or dancing? Drunks or judges? It takes too long to navigate the playlist folder tree. iTunes does this, so should you.

Suggestions; Almost a real need - a way to delete songs in a playlist you are creating one song at a time. All it takes is a miscued scroll and you have an unwanted song in the list, an all you can do is delete everything else, not just one song. Add these two things and I'll up my rating to 5 stars.

Anoter need: save setlists within the app so we don't need to go to the iTunes viewer and import each time - also lets us save the set lists we've created on-the-fly.

Yet another - sort of the same thing, but: Single Play Mode, where the whole usage is toward one-song-at-a-time, not an entire playlist. Pick a song, it waits for you to press play. Tap and play the song, it ends and returns to the current playlist, ready for you to select the next song.

And finally - put an email link on your website so we don't have to make suggestions as 'reviews.' I would have rather used a review to praise the app, and keep the suggestions private, where they don't impact your potential sales. I really do appreciate this app, despite my nit-picking.
