Secure email on iPad at last!
Great app that has at last ecouraged my employer to give access to email on ipad. Major limitation is only 7 days of mail synchronisation. Can this be extended??
Deletes ALL my contacts
When I install the app it deletes all of my contacts without any prompt !!

3.5.6 very buggy
Have been using DME for over a year and DME3 for a few months.
Just upgraded to 3.5.6 and find it very unstable. On the first attempt it even corrupted the O/S on my iphone so I had to restore from backup.
My advice - do not upgrade unless you absolutely have to - stick with the earlier version until this is fixed or it's certain this is a one off issue for my phone/config.
If you must upgrade then ensure you synch/backup your iPhone beforehand so you can restore!
Have emailed their support team in case it's not just specific to my phone/config.

v3.5.6 - contacts sync broken!
In previous versions DME performs true sync of contacts on your iphone & server.
However, when I upgraded to v3.5.6 I find all I can do is "skip", "import" or "export" ... so syncing has just got a whole load less useful, because if I import my contacts it deletes all my contacts (with photos, ringtones & sms tones that I set up) & replaces them with a whole new copy of contacts. Useless!

Contrary to some reviews....
This app is actually very good. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Maybe those that have need to look at their servers setup? I get my mail, synch contacts, manage meetings and view attachments perfectly on my iPad and iPhone4.
Not very good
Often duplicates contacts between the phone contacts and server. Doesn't sync calendar between app and phone calendar at all and doesn't run in the background on ios 4.
No calendar alerts!
This is a piece of useless software. You don't get notifications when you receive e-mails and most annoyingly you don't get calendar alerts!!! Unless of course you are logged on constantly, which in turn defeats the purpose of the program and also effectively hinders you from using any other iPhone features. Not smart!

Should support backward compatible version of DME server.
Pls explain why we cannot use the 3.0 client with older DME server version.
