Very accurate and stable weather app

Essential for anyone who works outside. I’m always hesitant to pay money for ANY app. I normally go to the NOAA website but it’s not that mobile friendly so gave in and bought this App. To get it out of the way; there are features that need additional purchases. Which I do not have a problem with. This app is very detailed and fully customizable to what data & how you see it, the hourly forecast is very accurate. I no longer use google weather to plan my trips or outdoor events. My main use rely on accurate hourly localized rain forecast. The ability to cross reference two local base stations is a very nifty ability. Would recommend especially if you can use it as a company expense. Sports, concerts, exercise, weddings, traveling, or any outdoor events.... knowing is half the battle, add this app to your toolkit.

Why

So basically bought the app and it has prenium features man its not supposed to have a subscription its a pro app please fix this i wanted to do car play

Weather program is excellent.

Very informative

Using happily for years

This is my go to WX app when I need to know the full details. The only disadvantage to the simpler apps is that it definitely is more complex, but like I said, when you need to know in far deeper detail what is going on, this is the app that gives you all the nuts and bolts that you need to get a picture of the weather that will actually be useful. Also, moving to FL, I paid for the additional hurricane trackers, that starts showing potential problems a couple weeks before it ever his the US. There are many other features that you can purchase for a reasonable charge, as you might find yourself, like me, needing at a later date. All to say that after using it for several year, I don’t regret getting this app or paying for a subscription, something I rarely do.

Premium features aren’t worth the cost at this time

If your considering purchasing the premium features there are a few considerations to be aware of with the app. They are: 1. The radar doesn’t seem to refresh, or if it does it doesn’t refresh often enough. 2. The map view doesn’t orient way you are driving - correction, it can orient the way you are driving, but it doesn’t move smoothly. It jerks around, not pleasant. 3. Your location on the map is a blue dot. Doesn’t indicate direction you are going. 4. No street names when zooming in - at least nothing showing for smaller streets. As a result this is not ready to be used with Apple CarPlay, other than a quick check of the weather, then switch back immediately to what you are using for nav. The app on iPhone is 5 stars. The app in CarPlay is 1 star, so I averaged the two ratings. I will update this review if things change with future updates.

Weather

What an enigma, weather! I live in Southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico and I have to keep my eye in the weather as part of my business is keeping an eye on properties that a number of clients own who live in their primary residences up north during the summer months. Now (June - November (more like December too)) we are in “Hurricane Season”. Exclusively I turn to My Radar Pro to get a “current” weather picture. My Radar Pro has been the tool that I use to keep my clients informed and up to date. This is an incredible app and extremely valuable. If there could be any improvement I would ask for this one thing, True, Real Time radar views. I’m hoping that this request can be an is an actual upgrade in the very near future. Outside of that it serves me just fine.

Thanks for the fine job that you all do. Keep up the good work!

Great for travel and home use

Use it all the time to check for rain along travel route. App supplements what I get on local TV. I can zero in on specific locations with it to check rainy or flooding conditions. I highly recommend it. For a time - earlier in 2016 - the location dot did not work right. I could travel from home to Mobile, AL and the locator dot would track me. However, lots of times when I got home the locator dot still showed me to be in Mobile. Hasn't done it in about two months. Maybe it was a bug the developers fixed - I hope so anyway. Update Sep 2018 - Hey developers! Some of us wear trifocals. Your zoom in feature on locale temps works in reverse! When one zooms in on Billings, MT, for example, the numerical values of temp get smaller. You too will someday wear bifocals or tri-focals. Give us a break and let the numbers stay BIG when we zoom into a location.

Idéal

Après que l'on connaît son fonctionnement c'est une mine d'or pour nous donner une foule de détails météorologiques

In The Forest

I love this app, I feel safe riding my quad in the wilderness knowing that I can set My Radar pro to track me and I have alerts set so I get notifications when lightning and weather warnings are near; as I’m traveling,, so cool. Just enough time to set up a tarp and gather what I need to stay comfortable as it passes or I hunker down for a longer stay. It’s easy to see and make my own judgment as to what and where my next adventure will take me. Same goes for the motor bike trips. Totally a must have for anyone who wants to dress for the occasion. Take needed supplies while away. I use MyRadar pro about 4 x a day easy!!

MyRadar

Excellent app. I just wish the background pic wasn’t so static but would reflect the weather forecast. Otherwise it tells me what I want to know!
